Kris tells Khloé: “I’ll help you leave Tristan!”
Khloé Kardashian makes an emotional confession to mum Kris as she struggles to see a future with boyfriend Tristan Thompson
Khloé Kardashian’s relationship with Tristan Thompson has been under a question mark since it was reported that he cheated on her with five other women, just days before she welcomed their daughter True in April.
But insiders say Khloé, 33, is now contemplating her future without Tristan, 27, and she’s been leaning on momager Kris Jenner, 62, to help her devise a potential post-split plan.
A source says, “Deep down, Khloé isn’t happy, and as much as she wants to make things work, she doesn’t know if she’ll be able to trust Tristan again. She feels uneasy every time she hears his phone ping, and finds herself wanting to question him about where he’s going all the time. She knows she can’t go on living like that.
“She broke down to Kris about it last week, and they discussed the potential of a split and the practicalities. Khloé is still living with Tristan over 2,000 miles away in Cleveland, Ohio, but Kris said she could move into her mansion in California and raise True there. She’d have the support of all her family and wouldn’t feel isolated or alone.”
Insiders previously revealed to Closer how Khloé’s relationship with Tristan was causing friction with her older sister Kim, 37, who was urging her to be strong and leave him.
The source says, “Khloé is starting to see where her family are coming from and realises they have her best interests at heart. At first, she wanted the fairy-tale ending with Tristan and did her best to ignore the cheating scandal, but now she wonders if it may be better for her and True if she leaves him. It’s a daunting prospect as she still has feelings for him, but it’s something she’s considering.”
Meanwhile, the reality star, who underwent a body transformation in 2015 and shed 3st, was left mortified last month when she was snapped for the first time since giving birth – with her famous behind looking larger than usual. The star even poked fun at her sizeable bottom, saying, “I couldn’t believe how big my booty looked!”
And as she showcased a flatterlooking stomach last week, sources say she’s determined to get in the best shape possible as part of her revenge on Tristan
The source says, “Tristan’s cheating knocked Khloé’s confidence and left her feeling insecure, so she’s determined to ensure she looks amazing and make him realise what he could lose. She wants the best body ever in case she does leave him.”
She’s previously spoken out against his politics, so Kim Kardashian raised eyebrows last week when she headed to the White House to meet with President Donald Trump about prison reform. The 37 year old – whose rapper husband Kanye West has expressed support for Trump in the past – is thought to have asked for prisoner Alice Johnson to be pardoned after hearing about her case. Alice, a 63-year-old grandmother is serving a life sentence for a firsttime non-violent drug offence.
Not surprisingly, fans reacted with shock at the odd pairing, with one commenting, “Trump has Tweeted to say that he and Kim Kardashian talked about sentencing. Next week he’ll be asking the cast of Jersey Shore about punctuation.” Another wrote, “Kim K and Trump in the White House? Now it feels like we’re living in some weird parallel universe.”
Kim also found herself at the centre of a media storm last week when she launched a Twitter tirade against rapper Rhymefest, after he accused Kayne of abandoning charity Donda’s House, which they set up together. Fans branded Kim, 37, “cruel” when she accused Rhymefest of using Kanye’s name for personal gain and vowed to take control of the charity from him and let her kids “run it the way it should be run.”
