Jada Pinkett Smith sparks a backlash after opening up about her antics between the sheets in front of her daughter and mother
They’re known T for being one of Hollywood’s most controversial families but, last week, Girls Trip actress Jada Pinkett Smith left fans stunned after confessing in front of her 17-year-old daughter Willow and mum Adrienne Banfield-jones that her grandmother had taught her about masturbation at the age of nine, and that she’d had an obsession with orgasms.
ADDICTION
The 46 year old – who’s been married to Hollywood star Will Smith for 20 years – made the candid confession on her Facebook show Red Table Talk, and admitted she’d even become addicted to masturbation. She said, “My grandmother taught me about self-pleasuring because she wanted me to know that that pleasure was from me. She didn’t want me to fall into the hands of a man, and if he gave me pleasure, to think that was him. And she taught me at nine.”
Jada revealed to her daughter Willow that by her early twenties, she was experimenting and giving herself multiple orgasms.
She said, “I think by your age, I gave myself multiples first. Multiple orgasms. I was really into it at one point. Just because I was in an exploration state and I was abstaining from men.
“And I actually think I went through kind of an addiction, too, with it. And then one day, I was like, ‘Enough. You’re having five orgasms a day.’ Yeah, you get addicted. You can create so much pleasure, you constantly want it.”
Adding to the drama, her daughter Willow confessed how she learned about sex after accidentally walking in on her parents getting intimate.
She revealed, “It wasn’t like I was seeing everything, the room was still dark. It was silhouetted.”
Fans were quick to express their shock online, with one writing, “I’m no prude, but if my mother ever talked to me about using sex toys and giving herself multiple orgasms, I would seriously jam some chopsticks in my eardrums.” Another added, “Grim, tawdry, desperate for attention.” And one user Tweeted, “That is so weird and strange.”
REGRET
Jada met Will in 1994, when she auditioned for the role of his girlfriend on The Fresh Prince of Bel-air. At the time, Will was still married to his first wife, Sheree Fletcher – with whom he has son Trey, now 25. Jada later went on to marry the Men In Black star in 1997 while pregnant with their son Jaden, now 19.
Last month, she also expressed her regret over getting involved with Will while he was going through a divorce, telling his ex-wife Sheree on her Facebook show, “Because I did not understand marriage. I didn’t understand divorce. I will say that I probably should’ve fell back.”
