‘I can imagine us raising a baby in LA’

Insiders recently I told Closer how Michelle Keegan had become more open to the idea of starting a family with Mark Wright, after previously insisting a baby wasn’t on the horizon.

And last week, Mark’s father, Mark Wright Snr, appeared to fuel pregnancy rumours with a cryptic Instagram post – which was quickly deleted – uploading a snap of his daughter-in-law at his youngest son Josh’s recent wedding in Mallorca with the hashtag, “youknowweknow”.

Michelle, 31, responded to the post with a heart emoji, while one fan wrote, “110% having a baby”, and another added, “First grandchild!”

A source says, “Michelle and Mark have grown much closer since spending quality time together over the last few months. And being with all the family for Josh’s wedding reminded Michelle of what’s important. While she loves her career, she’s excited by the idea of starting a family with Mark.”

The couple, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary in May, have endured a longdistance relationship since Mark, 31, moved to LA to host Extra TV last September, while Michelle filmed BBC drama Our Girl for eight months in South Africa, Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur.

She initially insisted that joining Mark in LA wasn’t on the cards, but it seemed she’d had a change of heart after recently saying “never say never” to a possible move. And insiders say Michelle – who now has a Us-based agent – is growing more excited by the prospect of life in LA.

The source adds, “She’s excited about the idea of potentially breaking America, and can also imagine her and Mark raising a baby there. She loves the outdoors lifestyle and says it’s a great place for families.”
