SCARLETT’S PALS WARN: Following reports of a second split from Lee Wilkinson, friends urge Scarlett Moffatt to stay single

Their relationship T appeared to be back on track following a brief split in April, but last week it was reported that Scarlett Moffatt and Lee Wilkinson finished things for a second time, unfollowing each other on social media.

Sources insisted it was personal trainer Lee who had decided to end their seven-month romance – with claims that Scarlett, 28, was “begging” him to come back. But insiders tell Closer how pals have urged the star to walk away from the “toxic relationship”, as they fear it’s chipping away at her self-esteem.

A source tells Closer, “Their relationship has never been plain sailing, and they’ve had some big rows since getting back together. Her friends and family have been worried that the constant on/ off nature of it was wearing her down. They think it’s become toxic for her, and that Lee won’t make her happy in the long run.”

Scarlett previously broke up with Lee in April, blasting him as a “pathological liar” amid claims he had been messaging his ex, Samantha Irving, behind her back. Samantha then publicly warned Scarlett off Lee, insisting he was using her for fame.

The former I’m A Celeb! winner confirmed the relationship was back on last month, sharing photos on Instagram from a romantic break to Amsterdam.

But despite their loved-up reunion, pals say things soon took a turn for the worse.

The source says, “It’s been difficult for Scarlett. Despite forgiving Lee, she can’t help but feel a little insecure about what his ex said, and there’s still that bit of doubt. Lee’s done little to ease her worries, and kept saying she was just being paranoid.”

Just days after the split reports, Scarlett looked in high spirits as she enjoyed the sunshine with friends in London – even getting close to a mystery man.but pals still fear she and Lee could soon be back on.

The source adds, “It’s been very on and off, so, despite the split, no one would be surprised if they got back together. Her friends don’t think Lee will ever make her happy and want her to cut him out of her life.”
