Kim’s sidelined by Kanye’s “other woman”
Pals say Kim Kardashian is feeling left out as Kanye West bonds with singer Teyana Taylor on her latest album
They’ve been T plagued by split rumours during their four-year marriage, with Kanye West even admitting recently that he feared his wife Kim Kardashian would leave him.
And pals are worried trouble might continue to brew for the couple, as Kanye’s friendship with singer and model Teyana Taylor – who worked with the rapper on her latest album, KTSE – could cause tension between him and Kim, 37.
A source says, “Kim’s been feeling a bit put out by Kanye and Teyana bonding over their music. They’ve spent hours holed up in a studio over the past few months, while Kim feels more distant than ever from Kanye. He’s always been close to Teyana, but since working on her album, he’s been singing her praises. And when they’re not working, they’re having long meetings and dinners with their teams, which has led to Kim feeling left out.
RESENTFUL
“Kim trusts Kanye 100 per cent and she knows he loves her, but she can’t help feeling a bit resentful about this ‘other woman’. She just wants her man relaxing at home with her and not thinking about work all the time.”
Teyana, 27 – who has daughter Junie, two, with her basketball player husband, Iman Shumpert, 38 – first met Kanye in 2016 when she starred in a music video for one of his tracks. She was signed to his record label, GOOD, in 2012, and they’ve remained friends, with her recently publicly thanking him, saying she “never could have made it without you.”
Insiders tell Closer how Kim’s felt increasingly distant from Kanye, who’s spent much of the past year recording his latest album in Wyoming – leaving Kim thousands of miles away at home in LA with their three children, North, five, Saint, two and sevenmonth-old Chicago.
The source says, “Kim sometimes worries they barely have anything in common any more. She had been talking to him about getting into music herself just so she could have that connection with Kanye, but he told her that it’s fine they have separate interests and says they can still be close.”
MISERABLE
The couple, who recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, were snapped looking miserable earlier this month as they attended a children’s fashion show with North and Saint.
But the reality star has
apparently hatched a plan to reconnect with her husband.
The source adds, “Kim’s determined to put their marriage first now that Kanye’s back in LA. She’s cancelled some work commitments and has booked a romantic getaway for the two of them in The Wine Country, so she’s hoping that spending some much-needed time together will help get back their connection.”
