If I could only wear one thing on repeat every day it would be… jeans or a dress. I’m good at dressing for a fancy occasion but, most of the time, I’ll be very casual in a T-shirt and jeans, or a very old adidas grey tracksuit that my family hate – they want me to throw it away, but I love it! I very rarely wear designer pieces… I much prefer the high street. It’s affordable, and there’s so much choice. The fabrics may not be as luxurious as high-end brands, but the designs and prints are brilliant. I just don’t want to spend £2,000 on a handbag when I could buy over 20 dresses for the same price. I love Marks & Spencer, Monsoon and New Look. I do follow trends, but it’s not always intentionally… I’m aware of what’s “in”, but will usually find inspiration from bloggers on Instagram or just random people on the street. If I see an outfit I like, I’ll always go over and tell that person that they look great. They might think I’m weird, but I think it’s nice. Dressing for my body shape is key to pulling together a nice outfit… I don’t follow many rules with style, but I’ll tend to go for pieces that suit my figure. I’ve got a smaller waist, so I like things that nip in and show it off. Being organised is a daily struggle for me… I’m naturally quite messy, but I try to keep my wardrobe neat and tidy. It doesn’t always work out that way, though! I have a lot of clothes, so I do regular clearouts. I like to do car boot sales, or I’ll donate stuff to charity shops. If I haven’t worn something for a year or two, it has to go. I’m not very sentimental, so I find it quite easy to have a good clearout.
