Pals warn Lauren: “Don’t have a baby with Joey!”

Lauren Goodger hasn’t given up on her dream of being a mum – but friends urge her not to go back to her ex, Joey Morrison

Her hopes of H marriage and kids with jailed boyfriend Joey Morrison appeared to be over when she recently revealed the pair had called it quits – with reports that despite being behind bars, the convicted criminal had sent revealing pictures of himself to hundreds of women. But sources say Lauren Goodger still hasn’t given up on her baby dream, and is determined to find her happy-ever-after. Last week, the reality star, 31 – who told Closer in April, “I’d love to get pregnant this year” – confirmed how broody she was after posting a photo holding a friend’s baby, with the caption, “Can’t wait to have my baby boy!”

However, pals fear Joey could still worm his way back in. A source says, “Lauren has been putting on a brave face, but behind closed doors she’s devastated. She loved Joey and was so loyal to him. She’d been waiting for him and cultivating relationships with his family while he was in prison, ditching nights out to talk to him on the phone. She truly believed she’d get her fairy-tale ending with him and now pals are worried he might still try to worm his way back in with promises about settling down. Friends have warned her to stay away from Joey and not to have a baby with him.”

Lauren’s romance with Joey – who has been behind bars since 2009 for a series of drug-related offences – has been on and off since they started dating in 2016. They split last August, but got back together in March, when it was revealed that Joey had been granted temporary day releases and was set for full-time release later this year. Then two weeks ago, Lauren confirmed she was single again.

The source adds, “Lauren wants to be a mum, that’s her ultimate goal. All her friends are either trying for or having babies and it’s making her even broodier. Lauren doesn’t want to be a single mum, so she’s said her dream now is to meet someone new – insisting she’ll have a whirlwind romance and fall pregnant quickly.”

However, last week, insiders claimed Lauren had splashed out on surgery in a bid to impress Joey. And after posting a string of bikini-body pictures on Instagram last week, sources say she’s determined to show him what he’s set to lose.

The source adds, “Lauren’s insisted she’s over Joey and won’t be swayed, but everyone knows she’s posting sexy selfies in the hope he’ll see them and regret what’s he’s done.”
