My day in style: Ferne Mccann
MORNING 6.30AM: Sunday [Ferne’s seven-month-old daughter] is my personal alarm clock. She doesn’t know how to snooze, so I wake up when she does. I love lounging around in my PJS, which is usually a two-piece from Victoria’s Secret. 7AM: My mornings are all about multi-tasking; I change Sunday’s nappy and give her a bottle of milk while checking my emails. Then I make myself a protein breakfast shake. 7.30AM: Since becoming a mum, my beauty routine has really taken a backseat. Most days my hair is scraped back into a bun, and the only make-up I wear is the MAC Face And Body Foundation and a sweep of mascara. 8AM: During the day, I’m rarely seen in anything but gym gear and trainers or a comfy two-piece. I’ve become obsessed with online shopping as it’s more convenient. Miss Pap is my top choice for clothes, but I’m a big fan of New Look, too. 10AM: I’ll always have a bag packed full of stuff for Sunday in case I need to head out: nappies, wipes etc. But if there’s any room left, I’ll throw in a bottle of my Capri perfume and the Project Lip Plumping Primer.
AFTERNOON 12.30PM: I try to eat as healthily as possible during the day, so lunch will be either a mackerel salad or a sweet potato. I’ll always add some sort of cheese though, it’s my guilty pleasure! 2PM: I’m not filming my reality show First Time Mum at the moment, so I’m making the most of my free time. I really miss it, but I’m enjoying spending more time with my friends and family. I have a trip to Devon planned soon and I hope to go abroad somewhere too. 4PM: I still hang out with some of the TOWIE cast, especially Danielle [Armstrong], Arg [James Argent] and Jess [Wright]. If I had to pop out, I’d trust the girls to babysit Sunday, but I don’t think I’d leave Arg on his own with her!
EVENING 6PM: If I’m having a rare night off I’ll head to Sexy Fish restaurant in Mayfair. I love getting glammed up, as I don’t think being a mum should define how you dress – if anything, my wardrobe has got even sexier since I had Sunday! My go-to outfit would be a satin dress with heels. 7PM: Most evenings are spent relaxing with Sunday. I love giving her a bath and putting her to bed. If I’ve got friends coming over, we’ll order a Turkish takeaway and watch reality TV. I enjoy staying in more than going out these days. 9.30PM: I struggle to switch off, so although I head to bed at 9:30pm I’m usually sending messages and scrolling through Instagram until midnight.
