She raised eyebrows S when she was pictured cosying up to former fiancé Andrew Brady in Ibiza last week – just one month after she broke off their engagement amid cheating claims. And insiders say Caroline Flack’s indecision over Andrew, 27, could put strain on the 38-year-old Love Island host’s close friendships. A source says, “Caroline has been on an emotional roller coaster throughout their relationship. One minute, she’s on cloud nine; the next, she’s in tears. Andrew knows the right things to say to get back into her good books and Caroline seems to go along with it every time. Her pals can’t bear to see her upset any more – it seems like everyone’s losing a bit of patience over it. There’s only so much support friends can show when she keeps see-sawing back and forth – no one knows what to say to her. Some of her friends have said they can’t stand by and watch her go through all the heartache again. They’re worried that if she takes him back, she’ll risk losing them.”
The on/off pair, who got engaged in April after a threemonth romance, briefly split in March amid reports of Andrew’s alleged infidelity and fears the former CBB star was using her for fame. But they patched things up before finally deciding to go their separate ways last month. Just two days after calling off their engagement, news broke that
the presenter had hit out at her ex on Facebook – accusing him of secretly planning to go on Celebs Go Dating before they split. Andrew reacted on Twitter, admitting he’d had a meeting with bosses from the dating show, saying, “When someone has no money and nothing to lose they tend to do crazy things.”
Caroline has been repeatedly forced to defend her whirlwind romance, even penning an open letter to Andrew in which she gushed that after they met, “It felt like they had known each other their whole lives”. In the wake of her latest split, Caroline, who’s had a string of failed romances with younger men, including 1D star Harry Styles, defiantly took off her ring and posted a string of emotional messages on social media about staying strong.
But sources close to the star fear she is back under Andrew’s spell as the couple enjoyed a secret break last week, and appeared relaxed as they reclined on a sunbed.
The source adds, “Friends worry that Caroline sometimes lets men get away with murder, which she’s admitted could be down to her lack of selfconfidence – but she’s also a true romantic, much to her detriment. She feels she has an amazing chemistry with Andrew and doesn’t want to let him go.”
