‘Most women lie about their sex lives’ Celeb guest

I wasn’t surprised by a recent survey, which revealed that 10 per cent of women hadn’t had sex in over a year. I know it’s absolutely true. Everybody is lying about it, pretending they have more because society is so obsessed with sex and having lots of it. In reality, the majority of people are just too knackered.

Although, when Mel B, 43, was on Loose Women recently, she revealed she had sex two or three times a day. It was really refreshing to hear because a lot of women, especially at our age, moan about it being a chore. But one of the reasons why women don’t have more regular sex might also be down to self-esteem – a lack of body confidence in the bedroom may be holding them back from having a great time. But confidence is attractive, not the way you look! Fortunately, my husband [TV producer Mark Adderley] makes me feel brilliant, whatever size I am. According to the study, 30 per cent of women also cheat on their partners. Perhaps women who enjoy sex just as much as men aren’t getting their needs met, while I suppose others are looking for the thrill of the chase.

Apparently, men have better sex with women who are emotionally unstable. It must go back to the hunter-gatherer idea of “I will look after you.” I always say people choose what they want. When a friend is with a commitment-phobe, I tell them they’ve chosen him, so it must have been what they wanted!
