Posh fears Mel B will expose her innermost secrets
As her former bandmate Mel B pens a tell-all book, pals say Victoria Beckham is panicking that she will reveal what’s really gone on behind closed doors with husband David over the years
She’s set to open S up about her colourful past and the secrets of her fellow Spice Girls when she releases her salacious tell-all book, Brutally Honest, in November.
But pals reveal one person who isn’t looking forward to Mel B’s autobiography hitting the shelves is Victoria Beckham, with a source telling Closer that she fears intimate details about her marriage will be exposed.
A source says, “Mel’s book has come at a bad time for Victoria, she and David have faced intense speculation around their marriage recently, but it was finally starting to calm down. With this book about to surface, she’s nervous that Mel will use her for publicity and although she knows she and David have nothing to hide, of course she hates the idea that Mel might spill the beans on intimate secrets about her, the Spice Girls and her marriage to David.”
LONG-TERM FEUD

posed for a cosy snap with their manager Simon Fuller. Mel, 43, and Posh, 44, have infamously feuded over the years, with Mel once admitting, “We fight, we argue, we make up... it’s always been like that.”
And just last month, Mel made a veiled dig at Posh – who has reportedly refused an offer to reform with the group – during an appearance on Loose Women. When talking about a possible reunion, Mel said, “There’s one that’s been a bit difficult, but she’s getting roped in.”
Closer’s insider reveals that Posh is most worried about Mel exposing how she felt during the most traumatic scandal that she and David have ever faced – the allegations of an affair between David and PA, Rebecca Loos (something he has always denied).
The source says, “Victoria has spent the last 20 years carefully constructing this perfect life, and she’s worried it could now come crumbling down because of Mel. She knows all about the false reports of David cheating and how furious and heartbroken they left Vic – and there are concerns Mel might share those personal secrets around how she really felt with the world.
AXE TO GRIND
“Victoria tried to cut Mel out of her life years ago, refusing to lend her clothes, ignoring her suggestions to meet up and offers of friendship when they both lived in LA. And now the fear for Vic is that Mel may have an axe to grind.”
Victoria and David have been persistently plagued by rumours that their marriage could be on the rocks.
The couple reportedly had a furious bust-up backstage at Glastonbury Festival last year after David left Posh on her own in the VIP area. And Becks’ perfectly polished persona came under fire last year when a series of private emails exposing his secret campaign to be given a knighthood were leaked to the public.
Earlier this year, the couple became the focus of split rumours on Twitter, suggesting they were set to divorce – something they fiercely denied. Bookies even suspended bets on whether they were about to call time on their marriage.
But the pair’s relationship isn’t the only thing that Mel could expose in her book, with super-slim Victoria’s eating habits also coming under the microscope, as well as petty fallouts between her and the other Spice Girls.
The source says, “Mel could easily expose their rows over clothes, Victoria’s eating habits and her grooming regime. She knows this book could well mean her entire world is going to get picked apart yet again.”
