Are Jordan & Kerry’s new men using them for fame?

-

● Kris Boyson is accused of being paid for social media posts after getting together with Jordan

● Her pals fear he’s trying to boost his personal training business off the back of her profile

● Fans warn Kerry her fitness instructor man Ryan is chasing publicity and trying to attract more clients

They already have T a lot in common, with each having three marriages behind them and five children. And Jordan, 40, and Kerry Katona, 37 – who first became friends after appearing together on I’m A Celeb! in 2004 – have continued to mirror each other’s lives, both moving on from their third husbands with personal trainer boyfriends.

CASHING IN

But friends now fear the fitness stars could be using their famous girlfriends to boost their social media followings and cash-in on their high-profile relationships.

Jordan, real name Katie Price, wasted no time moving on after her marriage to Kieran Hayler, 31, collapsed in May – going public with Kris Boyson, 29, just days later. Kris had already starred in reality show Five Star Hotel and trained celebs such as former TOWIE star Lydia Bright and TV host Marvin Humes.

And with his followers increasing, he now appears to be doing sponsored posts with big brands. Last week, he uploaded a shot promoting the Mercedes Benz F1 team – to which a fan replied, “Helps dating a celeb”. He also posed with a Mercedes car with a personalised number plate. And while recently training outdoors with Jordan’s eldest son, Harvey, 16, he was pictured wearing a T-shirt promoting his fitness brand – leading pals to fear he’s using the romance to boost his business.

A source says, “Kris seems to be enjoying his newfound fame and has been saying how easy it is to cash-in on Instagram posts and how many messages he gets daily from his new fans.”

Last week, it was claimed that Jordan’s mum Amy – who was diagnosed with a terminal lung condition last year – had asked Kris to sign a contract stating in writing that he won’t use her daughter for money, but sources claimed he threw it in the bin. Earlier this month, Kris revealed he will never let Katie pay for anything.

Amy was filmed expressing her concern over Jordan’s romance with Kris on her reality show My Crazy Life, telling cameras, “I thought, ‘Here we go, another young one, yet again.’”

The source adds, “Friends and family made no secret of their worries about Kris when he started a relationship with Katie. He’d already been on TV and they thought he had a taste for fame. Amy is still not convinced about Kris. She worries about how Katie will cope if anything happens to her and she’d hate for her to end up with the wrong man and regret it. She’s begged Katie not to rush into anything. Kris has always defended himself and insisted he’s a good guy and not with Katie for the fame.”

BOOSTING THEIR STATUS

But last week, insiders claimed that Jordan – who also has Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, with first husband Peter Andre, and Jett, five, and Bunny, four, with Kieran – was already planning a December wedding in Thailand, with pal Kerry as her bridesmaid, and doesn’t mind Kris cashing in on her name if it boosts their star status.

The former glamour model – who was once worth an estimated £45m – has been in a financial crisis and earlier this month was given 12 weeks to pay off her debt or face bankruptcy.

The source says, “Katie knows Kris is enjoying the money that being part of a celeb couple has given him and says it’s a two-way street as, in turn, she’s hoping to negotiate a six-figure deal for rights to their wedding. She says the attention on their relationship will keep her in the headlines and provide an income. She’s said she’ll have Kerry and other celeb s as bridesmaids to ensure it’s a star-studded do.”

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Kerry went public with personal trainer boyfriend Ryan Mahoney, after spending nine months single following her split from third husband George Kay.

Despite her happiness, fans have grown suspicious that Ryan – whom she recently met on dating app Bumble – could be using Kerry to promote his business. Ryan – who appears to have gained over 1,000 followers in recent weeks – was the first to post a loved-up selfie of the pair on his Instagram page.

One fan recently said of him, “Entrepreneur? His companies instagram has 400 followers, hows that paying the bills? I think it’s a little obvious to EVERYONE but Kerry why this guy is into her. [sic].”
