How much do you spend per week? Be­tween £100£200. There’s my hus­band (ac­tor Sa­muel Kane), my two chil­dren (Lucy, 20, and Jack, 18) and their other halves to cook for, so I buy a lot. I of­ten go to Lidl or M&S. De­scribe your daily diet… For the past three months, I’ve been do­ing the Slim­fast 3.2.1 Plan, so I have a shake for breakfast, fol­lowed by their snack bars, pret­zels, or cheese bis­cuits. Lunch is usu­ally a cou­ple of pieces of salmon or chicken with salad. In the evenings, I might have a jacket potato, or salmon cooked in honey and soy sauce with veg. For dessert, I have Greek yo­ghurt with honey and wal­nuts. I used to skip breakfast, then binge on choco­late and crisps in the af­ter­noon – now I eat lit­tle and of­ten. What do you refuse to eat? I’m not keen on kid­neys, black pud­ding and oys­ters. What’s the strangest thing you’ve eaten? I ate frogs legs in Las Ve­gas once. They were quite tasty and I ate them with­out know­ing what they were – they taste like chicken. What’s your food han­gover cure? Tea is my cure for ev­ery­thing. I like a brew with a ba­con sarnie, fol­lowed by lots of water. What would you cook to im­press some­one? Some­thing fancy like a lob­ster Ther­mi­dor, or my favourite dish, a Thai green curry.
