“I’m worried I’ll lose everything again”

She’s been a staple of the show for 18 years but, last week, Coleen Nolan revealed she’d quit Loose Women – and postponed her upcoming solo tour – after receiving a “horrifying torrent of abuse”. The 53-year-old presenter came under fire after she became embroiled in a row with former CBB housemate Kim Woodburn, 76, on the show recently. Kim was left in tears after talking about childhood abuse, and over 25,000 people called for Coleen to be fired.

Announcing the news via a statement, the star’s rep said, “Coleen is devastated to let her supporters and fans down, but is currently not strong enough to withstand this constant unfounded online abuse, so she will be taking time out and spending it with her children and family where she feels loved and respected.”
