MEL’S TURMOIL AS SEX LIFE IS EXPOSED
She endured heartache following the collapse of her ten-year marriage to Stephen Belafonte in March last year, and Mel B is now facing fresh allegations from a former employee about her sex life following the split.
Earlier this month, Mel’s ex-nanny, Rusty Updegraff, claimed in court that the Spice Girls singer, 43, was “endangering” her two young daughters during heavy drinking sessions and one-nighters with strange men. The allegations led to the star being forced into random drugs testing as her custody battle with Stephen, 43, over their daughter Madison, seven, continues.
And last week, the nanny claimed the singer – who is also mum to daughters Angel, 11, and Phoenix, 19 – “cares more about sex” than her children and would “flaunt men” in front of her daughters. A representative for Mel strongly denied the claims and suggested the star would be pursuing legal action against Updegraff.
The claims came after Mel recently revealed that she was checking herself into rehab after an “incredibly difficult” six months – and was forced to deny allegations she was seeking treatment for alcohol and sex addiction.
Reports also alleged that Mel had turned to heartthrob Zac Efron, 30, for a night of passion in the wake of her split, after the unlikely pair struck up a flirtation on a dating app.
Opening up in a recent interview, Mel explained, “I’m not an alcoholic. No, I’m not a sex addict. I was with the same person [ex-husband Stephen] for ten years and that was quite a turmoil, very intense.”
