Cheryl turns to Kourtney for advice

Cheryl is supported by the eldest Kardashian sister as she navigates life after her split from Liam Payne

She’s been trying to maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship with her ex Liam Payne since their shock split in June. And insiders say Cheryl has now been getting single mum tips from A-list pal Kourtney Kardashian – who split from the father of her three children, Scott Disick, in 2015.

BONDING

Cheryl, 35, has enjoyed a close relationship with the Kardashians over the years and, in 2013, was pictured cosying up to Kim at one of Kanye’s concerts in LA. A year later, Khloé posted a photo of Cheryl on her Instagram with the caption, “Sometimes you meet people and you click instantly. Her beauty is more than skin deep... I love this lady’s spirit.”

And now insiders say Cheryl has been particularly bonding with Kourtney.

A source reveals, “Kourtney and Cheryl were introduced by Kim and Khloé and they’ve stayed in touch via Whatsapp. She wanted to reassure Cheryl that she’s there for her if she needs anything. She knows how tough it is to go through a split and stay amicable with your ex for the sake of the children.”

Kourtney, 39, famously broke up from reality star Scott, 35, after photos emerged of him getting close to his ex-girlfriend, stylist Chloe Bartoli. The couple first met in 2006 and had an on/off relationship for nearly ten years, with Scott’s wild partying often leaving Kourtney feeling she was raising their three children, Mason, eight, Penelope, six, and Reign, three, alone.

Meanwhile, Cheryl was said to have ended her two-anda-half-year relationship with Liam, 25, after growing tired of him being away from home and missing out on time with their son Bear, 18 months, as he toured the world with his solo music.

GRATEFUL

The source adds, “Kourtney feels she and Cheryl have had similar experiences. Although Scott is only four years younger, she definitely felt the age gap. It’s been well documented that she was often left to take care of the kids while Scott was out with friends, and their romance ended when he was spotted getting too close to his ex.

“Cheryl was right to trust Liam completely throughout their relationship, but she couldn’t deny there were some similarities with Kourtney and Scott. She was so grateful that Kourtney reached out to say how much she understood what she was going through. Kourtney’s main advice was to always try to stay patient and keep any disagreements or arguments with Liam private and away from Bear.”

Liam has been linked to a string of women since the split. Last month, the former One Direction star was spotted on a dinner date with 18-yearold Instagram star Maya Henry. Weeks later, a video emerged of Liam getting close to singer Rita Ora. The star is now thought to be dating model Cairo Dwek, after the pair recently shared a romantic trip to Italy.

But insiders claim that despite Cheryl’s eagerness to meet someone new, Kourtney – who went public with her ex-boyfriend, model Younes

She’s been left hurt by constant speculation over her 19-year marriage to David Beckham in recent months, and last week Victoria Beckham faced a fresh backlash when outspoken presenter Piers Morgan blasted their recent Vogue cover, which featured Posh, 44, posing with the couple’s four children.

Piers – who admitted he was once friendly with Posh – said, “The pictures made me vomit. It’s like, really? Is there no limit here? Making their kids prance about with water pistols. They are constantly ramming them down our throats to prop up ever-dwindling Brand Beckham. I just don’t buy it.”

A source reveals, “Vic was a bit annoyed by Piers’ comments. It’s one thing for online trolls to make digs at her marriage, but for such a high-profile presenter to say negative things was more of a personal attack.”

This isn’t the first time Piers has blasted the Beckhams. He branded their marriage “strange” in 2009, and in January – when Posh faced criticism over using an extremely thin model to promote her new eyewear range – he insisted, “Victoria Beckham’s shocking and shameful promotional image made me feel physically sick.”

Piers’ scathing comments came just days after Posh was reportedly left humiliated when a marketing stunt for her fashion brand’s tenth anniversary backfired.

Posh – who shares Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13 and seven-year-old Harper with David – launched a robotic chat app on her Facebook page that allowed an automated version of herself to interact with fans. However, the online tool went wrong when the bot began giving cringe-worthy answers to fans’ questions. When one asked, “Does David’s money make you happy?” the bot replied, “Very”. The automated Posh again answered “very” when a fan asked, “Would divorcing David make you happy?”

The source reveals, “She was a bit embarrassed by the blip. Vic knows you can’t always trust technology, but she was fed up after everything that’s happened in recent months.”
