Amber: “Piers Morgan slams me because he fancies me!”
Controversial model Amber Rose exclusively tells Closer her sexy secrets – and why she won’t tone down her act now that she’s a mum
She was working as an exotic dancer and model when she was thrust into the spotlight in 2009 as Kanye West’s girlfriend – after the rapper spotted her in a music video and made it his mission to woo her.
And despite their romance ending in 2010, Amber Rose has continued to grab headlines with her outrageous comments and near-naked Instagram posts – causing outspoken presenter Piers Morgan to once call her behaviour “pathetic attention-seeking bulls**t”. She quickly retaliated by posting a picture of herself lying on some stairs with no knickers on – a post she removed just two hours later.
But Amber tells Closer she’s adamant the Good Morning Britain’s hosts scathing comments are just masking his secret feelings for her.
“Does he fancy me?” Amber laughs. “Of course he does! That’s why he had to down me in order to feel superior. I offend him because of his toxic masculinity and narcissistic personality disorder. I’m not mad at him. My goal was never to embarrass him, just to bring awareness to his toxic behaviour.”
The 34-year-old star has also suffered a famous feud with ex Kanye, 40, in recent years. The pair became embroiled in a Twitter spat in 2015 after the rapper said he had to take “30 showers” in the wake of their split before he could start dating his now-wife Kim Kardashian – who he married in 2014.
Amber, who started stripping when she was just 15, was quick to call him out on Twitter, posting, “Awww @kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur

And the controversial star has endured further tension with the Kardashian family, after she blasted a then 17-year-old Kylie Jenner’s relationship with 26-year-old rapper Tyga – insisting, “She’s a baby. She needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax”.
Khloé Kardashian hit back, Tweeting, “Please stop talking about us in interviews mama. None of us talk about you.”
But Amber revealed she’d buried the hatchet with Kim, 37, in 2016, insisting, “As women, it’s good for us to let things go.” She also adds that she’s standing by the reality star, who has also been shamed by Piers Morgan over her naked Instagram snaps. She says, “I think Kim, like any woman who is confident in their body, has the right to show off what they’ve got, unapologetically!”
And it’s clear the star is also happy to talk about her love of sex, as the ambassador for Lelo sex toys. She smiles, “Sex is a huge part of any romantic connection. Everyone should be allowed pleasure! And sex toys help to enhance the journey of self-exploration and self-pleasure.”
The star – who is dating basketball star Monte Morris, 23 – has famously stood up against slut shaming, previously insisting, “I take a lot of punches for being a feminist and a lot of scrutiny –and I’m OK with that, because I do it for women.”

Now Amber insists she has no desire to tone down her sexiness after welcoming son Sebastian, five, with her ex-husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa – from whom she split in 2014. She says, “Being a mother is the greatest gift, but I think it’s a huge double-standard that you can’t be a mother and be sexy – of course you can. The idea that you can be one but not the other is very small-minded. It’s sad that people feel like they cannot shine in their authentic light because society has boxed you into only
one category. I would love to have more children. I love them so much. My son is my complete world.”
Despite becoming famed for her natural 36H bust, Amber revealed she was forced to undergo a breast reduction in April this year, admitting, “I was scared that I wouldn’t feel sexy any more, but it got to the point where I literally was in pain.”
And Amber – who has been hailed as starting the big bum craze, even before the Kardashians – says that despite her hesitations, she now cannot wait to showcase her smaller curves with a whole new wardrobe. She reveals, “I had been wanting a breast reduction for years. I’d started to get backaches and it had only become worse as time went on. Now that I’ve downsized, the thing I’m most excited about is wearing cute tops and clothes that actually fit me.”

And while Amber is making her mark on Hollywood, she insists the showbiz world is far from perfect. “The biggest misconception about Hollywood is that everyone is happy. It’s false and artificial,” she says. “I only have a couple of celebrity friends. Blac Chyna and French Montana are among my few friends in the industry. But there are also amazing and talented people in showbiz, too – I was so starstruck when I met Beyoncé! She’s incredible. It goes to show that you can do anything if you put your heart into it. I try to do that with everything I do. I’m looking forward seeing what happens next!”
