CHLOE SIMS: ‘I thought I’d be married by now!’

She’s the sassy star who isn’t afraid to give her TOWIE co-stars blunt love advice, whether they want to hear it or not. But Chloe Sims will be getting her own guidance on this series of Celebs Go Dating. And, looking back over her dating history, Chloe – who is mum to Madison, 13, from a relationship in her early 20s – says that life hasn’t followed the path she thought it would. She says, “I always thought I’d be married by now. I was engaged for five years, but we split up when I was 25. I thought I’d be married before I was 30. Now I’m 36 and still dating. I just don’t want to settle. I want that connection, that mad feeling of passion, that magic. “I’ve got a child, I’ve got a career, so it’s not like I’m desperate for a man. I want my soulmate, rather than just anyone. I’d still like to get married one day, definitely.”

Chloe rose to fame on the second series of TOWIE in 2011, and has been linked to co-stars Mario Falcone, 30, Elliott Wright, 38, and Liam “Gatsby” Blackwell, 30. But after a brief fling with Adam Oukhellou, 29, over the summer, and a date with Scotty T, 30, set up by Closer last week, she’s currently single.

And the reality star says that while she’s firmly on the dating scene, best friend Gemma Collins, 37, and her on/off boyfriend James Argent, 30, are very lovedup and on track to settle down.

She says, “Gemma and Arg seem in a better place than ever. I used to have my doubts and couldn’t get my head around it. They’ve had a bumpy road, but now they seem like they’re moving forward.

“Arg is in a much better place and Gem’s really happy. They’re planning to move in together and are looking at houses. I feel like maybe this time they might actually make it work.”
