“Women pay me to bed their husbands”

Escort Charlotte Rose believes everyone has the right to a sex life, and specialises in helping disabled men

- By Mel Fallowfield

Leaving a client’s L house, having spent the past two hours pleasuring him, not only does Charlotte Rose go home with an envelope containing £200 for her time, but also a box of chocolates as a thank-you present from his wife. Surprisingly, the gratitude is not unusual. In fact, Charlotte, 37, is regularly booked by wives who are happy for her to have sex with their husbands.

BIONIC PENIS

Charlotte lives in Essex with her partner Colin Chapman, 49, a builder, and has a mixture of able-bodied and disabled clients. She says, “Women regularly book me. It may be that they simply don’t want to have sex with their partner, or they find it physically difficult to because he’s disabled. It’s about them keeping an element of control when they choose who their husband sees and pays. They are still involved and so it’s not seen as threatening. Women will send me thank-you emails, as their husband is so much happier, and one woman even used to send me birthday cards. I am pleased to have such satisfied customers.”

Charlotte has been a sex worker since 1997 after starting out in glamour modelling. And two years ago, Charlotte hit the headlines after taking the virginity of “bionic penis” man Mohammed Abad, now 46. Mo lost his penis when he was just six years old after he was dragged along the road under a moving car in an accident. He had surgery to make a penis when he was 44 years old. His penis was crafted from skin and fat from the forearm, two rubber tubes and a reservoir of resin to pump into the penis. The skin rolled up with a tube in the middle and he had full feeling in the organ.

After his operation, Mo was finally able to lose his virginity to Charlotte. She says, “It was a great experience. We went for dinner first to get to know each other and then he booked us a hotel. Mo operates his penis by pushing a button on his testicles to inflate and another one to deflate. It stays up as long as he wants and then, when he’s had enough, he switches the off button. Mo showed me how to operate it and I even had a go at doing it myself! We spent two hours together and really enjoyed ourselves. We both orgasmed.”

Charlotte, who had been with disabled men before Mo, spoke about their sexual encounter publicly on TV and, since then, Charlotte has been contacted by many women who have disabled husbands.

HONOUR

She says, “One woman called me and explained she hadn’t had sex with her husband in years. He was obese and she found it too difficult. He was only in his 50s, but had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, and she wanted him to experience sex again before he died. Neither of them were working as he was too ill, and she was his carer, but they’d saved up their benefits and I saw him four times before he died.

“Another woman has asked me to teach her husband how to kiss again, as he has Parkinson’s disease and needs to relearn. And another client was a man who’d lost feeling from his nipples down due to a spinal injury. He could still get an erection, but his wife didn’t know how to arouse him. She paid for me to have a session with him to work it out. Through trial and error and different stroking techniques on his upper body, we discovered he had physical reactions on his chest and neck as he got aroused, and when

he was ready to ejaculate, his ears became very red and if they were stroked he climaxed. I taught her how to do it in a second session and she was very grateful and hasn’t needed me since. I am also trained in using hoists, which helps with some of my clients.”

SENSIBLE CHOICE

While many women might find it hard to understand why wives would want to pay her, Charlotte finds it a very sensible option.

She says, “I believe a healthy sex life is a very basic human right. Everyone deserves to feel loved and wanted. If a woman can’t provide that for a husband – or indeed vice versa – by outsourcing it, she’s still involved in some way. Apart from my work, which Colin is supportive of, as a couple, we are faithful to each other. But I know if I became unable to have sex with Colin then I’d definitely find someone for him and pay them myself, that way you don’t feel excluded or that it’s something completely outside your relationship. Sex is sex, and having it with someone else would sate that need. But he’d still have the deep emotional connection with me, and that’s what counts.”
