Love Island’s Jack: “We’re always bickering – but I love Dani more and more”
Love Island champ Jack Fincham on living with girlfriend Dani Dyer, and cosy nights in with her famous dad
They’ve been loved-up from T day one, storming to victory in the live final of Love Island 2018. But Jack Fincham – one half of one of the nation’s favourite couples – says that, since moving in together, he and girlfriend Dani Dyer have unexpectedly come to blows.
He says, “We’re always bickering – we have little bickers all the time. But it’s only about silly things. Like she’ll say, ‘What have you done that for? Why have you left that there?’ It’s nothing serious, just silly arguments, like everyone has.”

And Jack, 26, admits that his untidiness is a major bone of contention in the couple’s household.
He adds, “I’m messy, I’m terrible. I can’t help it – I don’t know what it is. I’ll be doing something and leave all my clothes on the bed, get distracted, leave them there and move on. I’m working on it though, but yeah, I am messy.”
The stationery salesman and actress girlfriend Dani, 22, captured the nation’s hearts on hit ITV2 reality show Love Island earlier this summer, with viewers falling for their down-to-earth personalities, and willing their fledgling romance to go the full distance.
Meanwhile, Jack – who recently revealed that he’ll “100 per cent” wed Dani next year – says that as the pair are adapting to their newfound fame and glitzy lifestyle, both are grateful for their change in fortune.
He says, “It’s good. Who wouldn’t enjoy it? Everyone’s been so nice to us. You can’t really not enjoy yourself. If you’ve got people who want to say nice things to you and be nice to you, why not? It’s definitely different from the villa, but I love living with Dani. I love her more all the time.”

Jack delighted fans when it emerged he was a big fan of Dani’s dad, Eastenders actor Danny, and even had a poster of the actor above his bed. And Jack says that he’s grown close to his girlfriend’s famous dad, who he now describes as a pal, in recent months.
He says, “Danny’s brilliant. He’s a lovely man and we get on really well. I’d even say we’re good mates. The Dyers are very similar to my own family.
“We see as much of Danny as we can – even though Dani and I are really busy, we’ll pop round to see him (and Dani’s mum Jo), and they’ll come round to my parents’ house. Everyone gets on really well.”
