5 MINUTES WITH...

Love Island’s Oliva Attwood, 27 – who dated Chris Hughes on the reality show and starred in their spin-off series Crackin’ On. Since their split, she’s now hooking up with members of the public for Celebs Go Dating…

- By Lily Smith

How has the show been? Nerve-wracking! I’m not much of a dater; dating is out of my comfort zone. Boys fall in love with me after a day and I’ve only had two boyfriends – I was with Chris, then with Bradley (football ace Bradley Dack), so I haven’t been single for a long time. Was it more fun than

Love Island?

It was totally different – it was easier, because I could call the girls or my mum after a date. It was a lot lighter and more fun, whereas Love Island was very intense. You don’t usually meet someone and then have them in your bed! What was your main reason for doing this? I wanted to change the public’s perception of me. My show with Chris (ITVBE’S Crackin’ On) was meant to be light and fun but the s**t hit the fan big time. People saw me shouting and screaming, crying and swearing. But really, I’m fun and I don’t take life seriously at all. Would you be open to kissing on camera? I feel a bit cringey. In Love Island, you’d just be kissing all day, but here you’re just sitting at a table – and when people kiss in restaurants, it’s like “eww”. Are you looking for love? I want to be swept off my feet – there has been potential for that to happen. I’ve been stuck in a cycle of going round and round with Brad for years. It’d be nice to meet someone to break the cycle. How do you think he would feel if you meet someone? I don’t know how he’d take it... Maybe he’d be happy for me, but maybe not – I don’t know. Chris? I never hear from Chris. That relationship feels really old to me, it feels like a lifetime ago. I was a completely different person when I was with him. It’s really strange.
