The countdown is almost over as the X Factor contestants gear up for the Judges’ Houses this weekend. We catch up with two of the budding stars
SCARLETT: ‘I REALLY FANCY LOUIS!’
She faced rejection after failing to make it past the six-chair challenge on last year’s show, but after blowing the judges away this time round, Scarlett Lee says she’s loving her newfound fame.
The 20-year-old make-up artist says, “I couldn’t go to public toilets, people would bang on the door. I had someone crying – but to be honest, I sucked it all up. I love fame and screaming fans.”
But she might struggle to concentrate on stage during the live shows as she admits she has a huge crush on judge Louis Tomlinson. She adds, “I’m petrified. I nearly died of shock in front of Simon – but Louis is the one I fancy on the panel!”
BELLA: ‘I NEED SIMON TO KICK MY BACKSIDE’
After receiving the first golden buzzer of the series, it’s fair to say she’s wowed judges. But X Factor contestant Bella Penfold says she worries she is her own worst enemy. She says, “The only person who’s going to let me down is me. I need Simon to give me a kick up the backside.”
But after sailing through the six-chair challenge, the 19 year old doesn’t feel threatened by her competition, either. She says, “I don’t have any rivals and there aren’t girls in the charts like me. X Factor is Simon’s show and he wouldn’t have me on it if he didn’t think he could make something of me – but I don’t want to let him down.”
