Kim Kardashian’s family warn her that husband Kanye West’s controversial outbursts could ruin her reputation forever

She’s weathered S a number of storms in recent months over husband Kanye’s West’s controversial behaviour and wild outbursts – with the rapper facing a shocking backlash over his support for President Trump, bizarre claims that slavery “is a choice” and most recently insisting he was moving from their family home in LA back to his native Chicago.
But insiders say Kim Kardashian felt pushed to her limit after Kanye’s latest rant on Saturday Night Live.
As Kim, 37, and daughter North, five, watched from backstage, the rapper 41, was jeered at while making an impromptu speech defending his support for the controversial President, while wearing a hat with the leader’s slogan, “Make America great again”.
Now insiders say the reality star’s family – particularly mum Kris Jenner – are urging her to stage an emergency separation from Kanye for the sake of her reputation.
A source reveals, “Kim’s admitted to her inner circle how fed up she is of having to deal with Kanye’s constant outbursts and she’s nervous that he could single-handedly destroy the career she’s worked so hard to build. Kris and other family members have even told her she needs to separate temporarily from him. Kris loves Kanye and knows how much Kim loves him too. She isn’t suggesting an actual split, but feels Kim needs to go through with a separation publicly to prove she doesn’t agree with his outbursts and controversial views. Kris has also said this tough love could make Kanye finally realise how much his unpredictable behaviour affects her.”
Just days later, Kim posted a romantic selfie of the pair with the caption, “We Got Love”. But fans quickly blasted the post, with one commenting, “So sad to see you think just like him. Kardashians are over for us.”
The source adds, “Kim felt torn as she wants to defend her husband when he faces a backlash. But her friends and family pointed out the intense reaction she and her whole family are now receiving as a result. They keep telling her that whatever Kanye does reflects badly on the Kardashian name.”
Kanye’s latest outburst comes after months of shocking behaviour from the rapper.
In his song Wouldn’t Leave, he revealed how he told his wife of four years she could walk away after she called screaming, “We’re about to lose it all” after he wildly claimed that slavery was a choice.
FURIOUS
The mum of three – who also shares Saint, two, and ten-monthold Chicago with the rapper – was also said to be furious when he released his latest track I Love It at the Pornhub Awards last month – featuring sexually explicit lyrics that fans alluded were about Kim. In August, Kanye was branded “disrespectful” after he rapped about “smashing” his sisters-in-law in new song XTCY and performing a solo sex act to their photos.
Opening up earlier this year about how she cried over Kanye’s controversial comments, she revealed how she lets the musician know when he’s gone too far.
“Sometimes I tell him with tears and sometimes it’s just, like, stop,” she said.
“We’ll talk it through seriously and get through it.”
PUSHED TO THE EDGE
A source adds, “Kim has made no secret of her emotions and stress over Kanye’s recent behaviour. It’s caused fights in the marriage and pushed them to the edge. The problem is Kanye doesn’t listen and just when Kim thinks she’s got through to him, he goes and says something else that blows up in his face and, in turn, has a negative effect on her family.
“Kim’s family now feel he’s addicted to controversy and needs to get a grip. They love Kanye, but they don’t think he’s considering the people around him. They’ve told Kim it seems like tough love is the only thing that can truly get through to him. Otherwise she might have to deal with the never-ending scandal for the rest of her marriage.”
