Kris: “I’ll marry Jordan to save her”
As troubled Jordan reunites with ex Kris Boyson, insiders reveal he’s been given her mum Amy’s blessing to pop the question to rescue her as her life implodes
She’s been at rock S bottom after a drink-driving arrest, a stint in rehab, yo-yoing between toyboys, reportedly facing bankruptcy and coping with her mother Amy’s terminal lung disease diagnosis.
Now pals say Jordan’s roller-coaster life is about to take another shock turn as Kris Boyson, 30, prepares to pop the question, after Amy convinced him that it could save her troubled daughter.
SELF-DESTRUCT
Last week, Kris moved back in with Jordan – real name Katie Price – following a brief split when she dumped him for millionaire businessman Alex Adderson, 25.
And despite a frosty first meeting when Jordan introduced Kris to Amy on her show My Crazy Life, pals say Amy has since built a close bond with the personal trainer.
He devoted hours to training with her grandson – Jordan’s eldest child Harvey, 16 – who suffers from numerous disabilities that have seen his weight hit 22st.
A source says, “Ever since Katie dumped Kris in September, Amy’s been working behind the scenes to get them back together. She believes he’s the only one who can pull her out of self-destruct mode. Amy trusts Kris, and believes he genuinely cares about Katie’s wellbeing, so when he said he’d do anything to save her – even if that meant asking her to marry him – Amy gave him her blessing to pop the question. She said that having another wedding to focus on, and the security of marriage, would help Katie move on from all this wild behaviour.”
Jordan’s troubled life has been on a downward spiral since the collapse of her third marriage to serial cheat Kieran Hayler, 31, in May. She dived head-first into a string of new romances, indulging in boozy nights out, becoming embroiled in a cocaine scandal in Majorca, being arrested for drink-driving, and then being admitted to rehab for PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) – on top of crippling debts and possible bankruptcy.
Her troubles have been worsened by her mum Amy’s illness, which she revealed last year had driven her to take antidepressants and seek therapy.
An insider says, “Katie’s a lot calmer and has felt more levelheaded since Kris returned to her life. She still has a lot of work to do on her mental health, but she wants to do an at-home rehab programme, and has promised Kris and her mum that she’ll be far more focused on her recovery if she can do it in the comfort of her own home, away from prying eyes.
“She appreciates how close Kris and Amy have become, and thanked her mum for helping her to get back Kris.”
Insiders recently told Closer how Jordan – also mum to Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, with first husband Peter Andre, and Jet, five, and Bunny, four, with Kieran – could be at risk of losing her kids due to her outof-control behaviour.
Junior and Princess have been staying with Pete, 45, since the summer, and reports surfaced last month that Jordan had been unavailable when Kieran tried to Facetime his ex-wife on numerous occasions when the children wanted to see her.
LONELINESS
Referring to her loneliness in an interview in July, Jordan said, “The sad thing about my break-ups is that it always ends up just being me and Harvey. Obviously, I split the kids and share, so it always ends up being me and Harvey in the house in the evenings – but he goes to bed at 6.30pm, so I sit there and I’m like ‘Oh.’ It’s boring.”
But pals say that despite the recent dramas, she’s working to get her relationships with her kids back on track, spending more time with them – and she is keen to have another baby with Kris.
The source says, “Katie’s been longing for a sixth baby and insists she wants to start trying as soon as possible as she’s not getting any younger. She believes that having another baby will be a fresh start and give her something positive to focus on – as well as sealing her bond with Kris.”
The reality star was spotted smiling last week as she was snapped outside an estate agents on her first sighting out of rehab. And pals say she’s hoping that by selling her £2million mansion and moving in to a new home, it will mark another fresh start for her, Kris and the children.
The insider adds, “Katie wants to sell the house as quickly as possible and get rid of all the painful reminders of the past few years, including her marriage to Kieran.
“She’s determined to put the pain of the past behind her, and start afresh in a new home. She says the dream would be to start her new life as Mrs Boyson with baby number six on the way.”
