After suffering A a traumatic year that saw her thenboyfriend Arthur Collins arrested and jailed for a horrifying acid attack, Ferne Mccann was forced to face pregnancy and motherhood alone – welcoming daughter Sunday last November. But after recently telling Closer that she was back on the dating scene and ready to meet her Mr Right, Ferne sparked romance rumours with Love Island’s Charlie Brake last week when the pair were spotted holding hands after leaving an event together in London. Ferne, 27, suffered a shock split from Arthur last April following his part in a nightclub acid attack in which 16 people were injured. He was later sentenced to serve a 20-year jail term. And while Ferne was briefly linked to an older man earlier this year, she has largely remained single.
Meanwhile, millionaire businessman Charlie, 23, rose to fame on Love Island this summer and left the villa with girlfriend Ellie Brown, but the pair split up in September and he has since been linked to model and billionaire heiress Kimberley Owen.
Ferne – who has also dated TOWIE’S Charlie Sims and Dan Osborne – has previously opened up to Closer about getting back on the dating scene, saying she was hoping to meet the man of her dreams.
She said, “Honestly, there would have to be a very special guy and patient man to slot in my life. I’ve texted a few guys and given things a go, you know I love a flirt. Who knows I could meet someone soon – I could meet my Mr Right!”
