JORDAN BEGS EXES FOR HELP
In a desperate bid to free herself from her financial woes, Jordan is turning to past loves to bail her out
She reached out S to her ex Dwight Yorke earlier this month in an emotional post on Instagram about their disabled son Harvey – saying “it’s never too late” to be in his life after years of estrangement.
The post was followed by reports that Jordan – real name Katie Price – is demanding £500,000 in child support from the ex-footballer for their 16-year-old son amid her financial difficulties.
LOOMING DEADLINE
The mum-of-five, 40, was given a month-long extension when she avoided bankruptcy for the second time on 30 October – and friends say she’s resorted to contacting her exes in a desperate bid to save herself before the deadline strikes.
A source says, “Katie knows time is running out, so she’s trying to think of any way she can drum up the last bits of cash. Harvey and the children are her world and it’s frustrated her for years that Dwight has had such little contact with their son. She’d love them to have a father/ son relationship, but the post on social media about Dwight was also a bit of a guilt tactic to get him to cough up some money. She’s been going through all her former flames one by one and insists, if she can get money from each of them by teaming up on business projects, she’ll have enough to stave off bankruptcy.”
Insiders tell Closer how the reality star has reached out to a string of exes, including rugby star Danny Cipriani and even singer Gareth Gates, who famously lost his virginity to her when he was just 17.
And pals say Jordan – who is in an on/off relationship with personal trainer Kris Boyson – is considering a business venture with her ex and close friend Dane Bowers, whom she once made a sex tape with and also described as “the love of my life” following their split in 2000.
BLATANT DESPERATION
The source says, “Katie’s seen how well Dane’s doing with his DJ career – travelling all over the world to luxurious locations – and she’s convinced she can cash-in on his success and make the most of their notoriety.
“She’s suggested she joins him for his sets abroad, which she says will bring bigger crowds. But Dane said, while he’ll support her however he can, he doesn’t think it would be a good idea.
“She contacted Danny and Gareth too in an attempt to open some more doors, but her messages have been ignored and pals have warned they come across as blatant desperation.”
The cash-strapped star was pictured shopping with Kris, 30, recently – and pals say he’s unaware of her latest plan and is attempting to help her get her roller-coaster life back on track.
The source adds, “Kris has been the one constant in her life the past few months and he’s vowed to stand by her as long as she’ll let him – which friends have urged her to cling on to before she risks losing everything. But they’re so up and down that she’s keeping all her options open.”
