‘Dump Andrew for good!’
Her on-off romance H with ex-fiancé Andrew Brady has continued to hit the headlines in recent months. And things appeared to escalate again last week amid reports that the former Apprentice star called an ambulance to Caroline Flack’s home after she threatened to kill herself following a blazing row. Now insiders tell Closer how celebrity pals of the 39-yearold Love Island presenter, including Olly Murs, Dawn O’porter and Dermot O’leary’s wife, Dee Koppang, have stepped in to stage an intervention.
A source says, “Caroline’s not been herself lately and everyone close to her is concerned her relationship has turned toxic. She’s a bit withdrawn and seems to be on a roller coaster with Andrew.
“Her pals have been rallying round, trying to support her, and have urged her to cut Andrew out of her life for good as they’re so obviously not right for each other.”
Caroline – whose representatives dismissed the claims as a “non event” – has had a string of high-profile bust-ups with Andrew, 27, from whom she split in July following a whirlwind engagement after just three months of dating.
The pair have kept fans guessing about their relationship
status following their recent “make-or-break” St Lucia holiday, and have regularly been pictured together in London.
But now Caroline has landed a role as Roxie Hart in West End musical Chicago, and is due to appear on the Strictly Christmas special, pals have warned her not to let Andrew ruin it all.
Her Strictly win in 2014 was overshadowed by her split from Jack Street, who allegedly cheated on her. She said at the time it “ruined the biggest day of my life” and her pals don’t want to see history repeat itself.
The source adds, “Caroline’s friends have watched her career highlights be tainted by sadness and have begged her to end things with Andrew for good this time, before she loses everything she’s worked so hard for.”
