he’s had a chequered history with female friends and fell out with two of her closest pals in 2014, after they slept with her thenhusband Kieran Hayler.
And insiders say former glamour model Jordan, 40 – who hinted at her loneliness last year when she said she’s often home alone with eldest son Harvey, 16, while her other four kids are with their dads – is on a mission to make reality star turned webcam millionaire Chloe Khan her new best friend.
BONDING
Insiders say the troubled star, who admitted taking cocaine last year as she struggled with the collapse of her five-year marriage, is keen to form a strong friendship with Chloe, 28 – who has been forced to deny claims she was a cocaine addict and prostitute in the past.
A source says, “Chloe and Katie have struck up a friendship after messaging each other on social media. Chloe is everything Katie wants to be in terms of looks and lifestyle. It’s as if she’s looking at a younger version of herself. But Katie’s loved ones fear that befriending ‘chaotic’ Chloe could be a disaster. They want Katie to focus on getting her life back on track instead of now planning wild holidays with Chloe.”
Jordan – also known as Katie Price – responded to a snap of Chloe sitting in a luxury sports car in Dubai, writing, “I want to join your fun trips,” to which Chloe replied, “Come baby”.
The star – who’s due in court this week – attended rehab last year for post-traumatic stress disorder following her marriage breakdown, and narrowly avoided bankruptcy last month.
A source says, “Katie is at a really low point but she’s been feeling better, bonding with Chloe over their love of plastic surgery and partying. Katie even asked if Chloe’s wealthy boyfriend had a friend he could set her up with. She really admires how well Chloe’s done off the back of a reality show and sees her as a kindred spirit.”
LUXURY LIFESTYLE
In stark contrast to Jordan’s current cash-strapped lifestyle, however, Chloe travels the world in the lap of luxury – flying on private jets, driving expensive cars and wearing designer clothes after making millions from her webcam business since being booted off The X Factor in 2010. But insiders say Jordan’s pals are concerned that Chloe – who is mum to Destiny, eight – may not be the right influence.
And last week, Jordan – who was recently rumoured to be pregnant and was also slammed for sharing graphic footage of her face lift on Instagram – was forced to deny claims on/off boyfriend Kris Boyson, 29, was moving in. There were also reports she’d told pals she was dumping him because she wants to “marry for money” next time.
The source adds, “Kris has been a steady influence in Katie’s life, but she wants to keep her options open. She’d love to go on luxury trips with Chloe and possibly even find a rich guy.”
