BRAD & ANGE ‘DETERMINED TO STAY FRIENDS’

-

Their divorce battle has dragged on for three years, but last week Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie raised eyebrows when they reportedly met up twice in one week, with claims they’ve also had other meetings in person regarding their children.

They finally reached a custody agreement last November, but pals say Brad, 55 – who has Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and ten-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with Angelina, 43, has been trying to get the actress to compromise.

Insiders reveal they want to stay close friends. A source says, “The meetings about the kids can be tense and emotional. Despite everything that’s happened, they clearly still have love for each other. They’re both stubborn and have clashed on some points but, after thrashing things out, they’ve realised they want to keep their friendship going for the sake of the kids.”

A year after their split, reports claimed Brad joined Angelina and their children in Cambodia for filming of First They Killed

My Father, which Maddox was working on as a producer, and they have continued their business relationship on their winery, Miraval.

The source says, “Their friendship is very up and down. There have been moments where they couldn’t speak any more, but then they’re united in wanting the best for the kids and would like to try to spend time all together.”
