The former TOWIE star, 33, has created a cosy feel in her glam Essex home
I MOVED IN [TO A THREE- BEDROOM HOUSE IN ESSEX] IN MAY LAST YEAR,
AND IT WAS SO STRESSFUL – I’m never decorating on my own again! I do love interior design, though. I used to work in it years ago, so I hope I still have a little bit of an eye for it. Sometimes I do ask my mum what she thinks, but then I worry, “What if she doesn’t know anything about design!?”
I LOVE THE LOUNGE – I spend most of my time here. I love cooking a healthy dinner and watching TV with Bella, my miniature Yorkshire terrier – First Dates is my favourite! I DON’T REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO TRENDS WHEN IT COMES TO HOMEWARE. I just go with what I like and my personal taste. Luckily, the coppery- gold items I was drawn to are on trend!
I’M ALL ABOUT HOSTING – especially now that I have more space. I often have the girls here for drinks before going out, and I enjoy throwing all- out fancy dress parties!
I GET LOADS OF STUFF FROM
DEBENHAMS – like this rose- gold lamp [above]. Their sales are brilliant, too – they’re a great way to find some bargains.
IT’S TRICKY TO CHOOSE MY FAVOURITE
PIECE IN THE HOUSE, but it’d have to be the sofa, because my old one was so uncomfortable. This one from Honey I’m Home [approx £ 2,000] is the opposite – it’s almost too comfy! INSTAGRAM IS A GREAT PLACE TO FIND INSPIRATION. I follow a few different “at home” accounts to get ideas. I LOVE USING INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES AS ART PIECES AROUND THE HOUSE. I’m still in the process of hanging them all up, but I just find them really positive and uplifting to have around.
