JORDAN’S SHOCK WEDDING ‘We’re having a child’

Jordan ignores her past heartaches and throws herself into wedding no.4 while powering on with her adoption plans in a bid to compete with her exes S

he’s already got three failed marriages behind her and has spoken about her loneliness when her four youngest children are staying with their respective fathers.

But the dramas haven’t deterred Jordan – real name Katie Price – from dreaming of marrying again and adding to her brood.

Last week, her on/off boyfriend, personal trainer Kris Boyson, 30, revealed marriage and kids are “100% on the cards” and reports later claimed the mum-of-five, 40, told him to propose on her second series of reality show My Crazy Life – or she’d turn him down.

And as Jordan revealed last week that she was in the process of adopting a baby from Nigeria, insiders tell Closer that she hopes getting married and having more children will make her feel more equal to her exes, Peter Andre – dad of Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, and Kieran Hayler – with whom she has Jett, five, and Bunny, four.

DESPERATE

A source says, “Katie thinks she’ll be happy again when she’s got a husband at home and a house full of kids. She’s convinced that marrying Kris will solve her issues and she won’t feel sad or lonely any more.

“She’d like kids with Kris as well, but she wants the family unit immediately and thinks adoption is the quickest way to do that. If she also gets pregnant, then that’ll be a bonus. Adoption is something she’s always wanted to do – but she’s more desperate to do it now because her kids are often with their dads.”

Her plans come after a turbulent time for the star, who narrowly avoided bankruptcy last year and “self-medicated” with drugs and alcohol, rapping about loving “coke” and being arrested for drink driving. And insiders reveal pals have warned her that this may not be the time to have another child.

The source says, “Katie’s mates were surprised that she’d go ahead with her adoption plans when she’s financially unstable and has so much going

on. They’ve tried to ask her if she thinks now is the right time, but it’s fallen on deaf ears. Once she gets an idea in her head, there’s no stopping her.”

Pals say part of her decision to adopt has been fuelled by her jealousy over watching her exes play happy families. Kieran is dating Michelle Pentecost, 36, who has a son from a previous relationship, and Pete is married to doctor Emily Macdonagh, 29 – with whom he has Amelia, five, and Theo, two.

Reports claimed both Kieran and Pete were “shocked and horrified” by her adoption revelation following her spell of wild behaviour last year.

COMPETITION

The source says, “It’s all a big competition for Katie. Watching Pete and Kieran appear so smug with their new ‘perfect’ families has spurred her on to make the adoption happen.”

Last week, Pete’s wife Emily spoke about family life with all the children on Lorraine, saying, “I think I’ve got more of a big sister role. Obviously, it’s about keeping things fair with the young two as well. But I think we’ve cracked it, we’ve settled into a routine.”

The source adds, “Katie wants to bask in the kudos of giving an orphan a home and, more than anything, she wants to feel on a level playing field with her exes. She dreams of having the perfect little family, like they have. But pals have warned her she may not get the reaction she’s craving from Pete and Kieran and it won’t give her the validation she wants.”

Speaking about her adoption plans on This Morning last week, she said, “I don’t care if they have disabilities or what age they are. I feel like I can offer them a place.” She revealed she got the idea of adopting from Nigeria while sitting next to a woman at a nail salon who had worked at an orphanage there.

It’s not the first time Jordan’s spoken about her plans to adopt. In 2010, she revealed she wanted to adopt a special-needs child from Bulgaria and, months later, it was reported she was looking into adopting a child from earthquake-hit Haiti with her second husband, Alex Reid. In 2016, she revealed she was keen to adopt a newborn with Kieran.

But pals are concerned that Jordan – who’s also mum to Harvey, 16, who has genetic disorder Prader-willi syndrome – only wants to add to her family to cure her chronic loneliness.

Despite her financial problems, she recently bought Harvey a £1,000 German Shepherd puppy to cheer him up, after revealing he was “pining” for his siblings. She admitted, “When I go home it’s just me and Harvs. It’s so quiet and lonely.”

FILLING THE VOID

The source adds, “Katie’s incapable of being alone and thrives on having a chaotic household. She insists that adopting a baby will help fill that void in her life, but friends have told her she needs to get herself in a good place first before she thinks of taking on the extra strain a new baby would bring.”
