Instant Family – an instant hit!
Kids driving you mad? Every parent will be able to relate to the trials and tribulations of family life in this star-studded feel-good comedy…
his February, Mark Wahlberg T and Rose Byrne hit the big screen with a hilarious and touching comedy about the perils of parenthood.
Instant Family, which is released on 14 February, tells the story of Ellie and Pete, a couple who decide they want children but, as they creep towards middle age, realise they’re destined to be the “old parents” at the school gates. So, instead, they give themselves a head-start and decide to adopt. When they meet three children at an adoption agency – secretly troubled 15-year-old Lizzie, her younger brother Juan and little sister Lita – they find themselves with a ready-made family. As they welcome the tight-knit siblings into their lives, they discover through laughter and tears what being a family is all about.
As you watch Ellie and Pete tackle fussy eaters, accident-prone kids and hormone-fuelled teenagers, every parent will be familiar with the chaos of modern family life. It’s no surprise then that the film’s creator, Sean Andres, was inspired by his own real-life experience of adopting three children. From sidesplitting laughs to tear-jerking moments, this film has everything.
