Despite still being D locked in a custody battle with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong over their beloved Labrador Hurley, Ant Mcpartlin was pictured last week showing off his two new Maltipoo puppies alongside girlfriend Anne-marie Corbett. Internet users were quick to turn on Ant, 43, after pictures were published of him playing happy families with his former PA Anne-marie, 42, as they paraded their new pets – named Milo and Bumble – with some labelling it a “PR stunt.” One wrote, “He replaced his wife, now replaced his dog. Hope one day he gets replaced”, which was liked over 2,500 times. Strictly make-up artist Lisa later liked a Tweet posted by a fan, which read, “After seeing the newspaper today, I really hope you got custody of Hurley – I feel that’s the least he could’ve done after putting you through all the s**t he has, especially now as he appears to be playing happy families…”
And pals say Lisa, 42, won’t give up fighting for custody.
A source says, “It’s understandably hard for Lisa to see those pictures of Ant, AnneMarie and the puppies. It feels like it wasn’t so long ago that it was her and Ant getting Hurley as a pup – so it’s a reminder of happier times together. Lisa won’t give up fighting for Hurley, she just wants this spat to be over and done with. She can’t bear the heartache any more.”
