THE PARKINSON’S DRUG TRIAL: A MIRACLE CURE?

Have you enjoyed doing this show?

MATTHEW, 40: It’s been a beautiful culmination of my career. I’ve been able to give back and share all the expertise I’ve gained. It’s been really rewarding, to give young up-and-comers great knowledge to help their careers.

CHERYL, 35: It’s been really fun and exciting. It’s been great.

OTI, 28: I’ve loved every minute of it; all the hard work and just sharing my knowledge with these girls. It’s really inspiring.

What song gets you up dancing?

MATTHEW: Anything by Bruno Mars, particularly Treasure. CHERYL: Anything by Beyoncé; Crazy In Love is a great one. OTI: Finesse by Bruno Mars and Cardi B.

Out of all the performances you’ve ever done, what’s been your favourite?

MATTHEW: A real stand-out moment for me was when I did a solo number to All I Need Is The Girl at The Tony Awards (recognising Broadway achievements). Also, The Olivier Awards, where I did a song from West Side Story.

CHERYL: My BRITS 2010 performance [where Cheryl performed Fight For This Love].

What would it mean to you if your act won this show?

MATTHEW: Well, I’m highly competitive so I’d like to win over Cheryl and Oti. We are all in it to win it!

CHERYL: I’d be over the moon, but it’s not about me. These dancers are amazing and they really deserve the recognition they are getting on this show.

OTI: It would be amazing to win, but I just want my acts to grow, I would be so happy for them.

What advice would you give them?

MATTHEW: I think getting to where we are now is a win and I do want them to know that. They’ve proven themselves already. And now I just want them to enjoy it all and have fun.

CHERYL: Stay focused and work hard. I hope it’s one of my three acts that wins this competition, they all deserve it. I think each of them has something different.

OTI: Enjoy it, and just take it all in. They’re such sweet girls and they’re brilliant at what they do.
