Gemma’s fears over Arg’s cheating
Tension flares between Gemma and Arg after he goes on a night out with Scarlett Moffatt and her female friends – and she admits checking his phone

Her boyfriend James “Arg” Argent enjoyed an Essex night out without her last week when he was snapped at celebrity hot-spot Sheesh with pals including BFF Mark Wright and a scantily-clad Scarlett Moffatt.
And insiders say Gemma Collins, 38 – who was booted off Dancing On Ice the following day – is upset that Arg, 31, has been partying with other women, including single Megan Mckenna and Scarlett – who he was linked to in 2017 while filming I’m A Celeb! spin- off show, Extra Camp, in Australia – particularly with his history of being unfaithful.

Despite rumours swirling that Arg may be about to propose, Gemma is said to be hurt.
A source says, “Gemma was upset when she saw the pictures of Arg and Scarlett together – saying she had no idea Scarlett was going. He claimed he didn’t even know she would be there. Gem trusts Arg, but it’s never nice to see your boyfriend out with a load of attractive single women when you’re not there.
“She was already feeling a bit hurt that he went on a big night out, knowing how nervous she was for the show the next day – so things were already tense.
“Arg said it was rare that all his mates were in Essex at the same time and said they just had a great meal and a catch-up. But Gem was annoyed, so she gave him the silent treatment and only starting speaking to him when they had a scheduled TV appearance together.” Arg’s past infidelities with his childhood sweetheart ex, Lydia Bright, 29 – who he once described as “the love of my life” – were regularly played out on TOWIE.
In an attempt to defend his cheating, the singer once said, “It wasn’t like I was having full-blown affairs behind Lydia’s back, or hooking up with people she knew – they were all fans.” He later revealed that he had slept with Lydia and Gemma on the same day during a holiday in Marbella.
And pals say Gemma – who has been left repeatedly heartbroken in the past due to Arg’s reluctance to commit during their on/off seven-year romance – can’t shake off her insecurities.
The source says, “Gemma’s always worried Arg will be tempted to stray and hates it when he hangs out with Mark, as she knows there will be gorgeous girls around them. It tests her trust.”
PRESSURE
Gemma has admitted she’s been having a difficult time with Arg recently, and last week revealed during an interview on Loose Women that she has the passwords to all his devices, confessing, “If I did [have an inkling] you can bet your bottom dollar I’d be getting right to the bottom of it.”
Last week, Gemma also opened up about her dream of becoming a mum – saying, “At the minute I’ve been busy with my career. I want, when that baby’s born, to love it so much I will never want to let it go.”
The source adds, “While she knows Arg loves her and swears he’d never cheat, she can’t help the way she feels and says she won’t feel fully secure until she has a ring on her finger and a baby on the way.”
