VICKY PATTISON From early-morning workouts to bingeing on boxsets in her PJS, reality TV star Vicky Pattison, 31, reveals her daily routine
‘I ‘ I WEAR MY GYM GEAR WHETHER I’M TRAINING OR NOT!’
MORNING 7AM: If I’m working, I get up anywhere between 6am and 8am. If not, it’s 9am or 10am – I love a lie-in. 8AM: When I’m trying to be healthy, I’ll have scrambled eggs, a bit of rye bread and some crushed avocado. Other days, I’ll have a banana and berry blast juice, then stuff my face with sandwiches and cakes. It’s all about balance! 9.30AM: I’m a big fan of early-morning training sessions, I love a hardcore functional session like HIIT [high-intensity interval training]. Once I get back from the gym, my day just falls into place really nicely. If I roll out of bed late and don’t train, I’m more likely to make a bad breakfast decision and be a bit lazy! 11AM: I’m that girl who wears gym gear or yoga pants, whether I’m training or not. I’m in trackies most of the time. If I’m appearing on TV or going somewhere fancy, then I’ll get all dolled up.
12PM: I tend to be quite organised with my outfits when I’m going to events, because my make-up artist needs to know what she is doing. I tend to make a decision beforehand, so that my stylist can have the right shoes ready and get everything sorted so I can head out without any stress. AFTERNOON 2PM: Normally I go for a nice wrap for lunch. I’m obsessed with Pret at the moment. I love their Italian salad boxes – the chicken and olives are great. Or I’ll have a chunky soup or something like a vegan chilli. If I’m being a bit naughty, I’ll have a Nando’s. 3.30PM: I don’t really tend to get afternoons off any more, as I always seem to be working or running around between Newcastle and London. Hence why I’m always grabbing food on the go! 5PM: If I’m going out for dinner or drinks, then a playsuit from Goddiva is my go-to. I like to wear it with leopard-print shoes and a matching clutch – that’s my girls’ night vibe. But for a date night, I’d go for red court shoes, a little red handbag, red lips and a white trench coat.
EVENING 7PM: I love SAS Who Dares Wins. I also watched the whole of You on Netflix recently, it was addictive! I’m into The Ted Bundy Tapes at the moment, too. I love sitting down with a good box set, a nice glass of wine and some Pop Tarts. I’ll light a couple of candles, put on my Primark Harry Potter pyjamas and a face mask, then chill. 10PM: I can’t go to bed early no matter what I do, it’s normally between 12 and 2am. I’ll go to sleep, ready to do it all again tomorrow…
