Deluded Jordan’s revenge bombshell
Fed up with being painted in a negative light, Jordan vows to try to ‘expose’ ex-husband Peter Andre to get payback
She recently went on an epic rant, slamming ex-husband Peter Andre for using their kids as an “emotional weapon” in a series of furious Instagram posts, which she later deleted.
In the posts, Jordan, 40 – who shares Junior, 13, and 11-year-old Princess with Pete, 46 – branded him “cruel” and slammed him for being a “hypocrite”.
One read, “A good parent does not take their child’s rights away out of the anger for the other parent.” In another, she wrote, “You will not have this control any more, wish people knew the real truth. I’ve been wrongly judged for too long now, leave me alone.”
‘SELFISH’
Jordan – real name Katie Price – continued to criticise the star in an appearance on Good Morning Britain – accusing Pete of being “selfish” for refusing to allow their children to appear on the latest series of her reality show, My Crazy Life or take part in photo shoots.
Just days later she posted pictures of Junior and Princess modelling clothes from her new childrenswear collection to Instagram – with critics branding it exploitation of her kids.
Now friends say a new war has erupted between Jordan and Pete.
A source says, “Katie feels as if she’s been bending over backwards to keep Pete happy for months – ever since her troubled patch began – because of her fears over losing the kids. Trouble has been brewing for a while, but she’s finally snapped and wants to be back in control. She doesn’t want to ask when she can see the kids, or have to seek his permission for them to join her at work. She shared those fashion images in defiance to show Pete she won’t be told what to do. She’ll stop at nothing to get payback and is desperate to scare him.”
Jordan has a history of making veiled threats. In 2013, she reignited her on/off feud with Kelly Brook, after the model made fun of her rival’s third marriage to Kieran Hayler. Alluding to their mutual ex-boyfriend, Danny Cipriani, 31, Jordan Tweeted, “I’m sure Kelly wouldn’t be laughing if I said the things Danny Cip said to me about her in the bedroom when I was with him, hahaha.” Kelly shot down her claims,
saying, “No, but I did laugh when he turned up at my house driving your car the next day ;) I don’t think you know anything.”
LEGAL ACTION
In 2017, her spat with Love Island star Chris Hughes turned serious when he threatened legal action and called her someone who “f**** lives” after she claimed they’d exchanged flirty messages while he was in a relationship with Olivia Attwood and hinted she had “51 screenshots” of messages from him. The alleged exchanges were never made public and they later reconciled.
But pals say deluded Jordan refuses to learn from the past and is stopping at nothing to get revenge on Pete.
The source says, “Her online rant about wishing that ‘people knew the truth’ clearly alludes to a difficult situation between them. It was seemingly a thinly disguised dig at Pete, who Katie feels should just be more upfront about their family set-up.
“The kids aree spending more and more time at Katie’s, but she’s still furious at how Pete has the power to just take them from her if it seems she’s misbehaved. The fact he’s banned them from appearing on her show pushed her to the brink and she’s making all sorts of empty threats, telling pals she’s not afraid to tell him to come clean about them or even that she’ll try to ruin his marriage if she doesn’t get her own way. She gets a buzz from the drama and the idea that people could believe she’s got something to expose when, in reality, there’s nothing to reveal.
“Pete got wind of this through pals and has laughed it off, he knows it’s all empty threats. His marriage [to Emily Macdonagh] is rock-solid and he’s the best dad he can be. Although he is worried that she’ll create more drama and upset for the children by being dragged into it.”
After they first met on I’m A Celeb! in 2004, Jordan and Pete quickly became the UK’S golden couple, but it all turned sour following their bitter split
in 2009, leading to a drawnout court battle amid Jordan’s claims that Pete and her former manager, Claire Powell, had leaked stories on her. The case finally came to an end in 2015 with a private settlement, but the exes have continued to do battle in the public spotlight – the full terms of the deal were not disclosed.
VOLATILE
Amid periods of appearing to be amicable, their volatile relationship has led to a number of fallouts. Drama erupted last summer when Pete took the kids to live with him full-time amid Jordan’s wild behaviour following her mum Amy’s terminal lung condition diagnosis, her split from Kieran and her admission that she’d dabbled in drugs.
And sources reveal the cash-strapped star – who is reportedly £2.1m in debt – feels she never really got what she wanted over the years, and after growing tired of the negative stories about her life, she says it’s time the tables were turned.
The source says, “Katie’s desperate for Pete to react, as she’s longing to rattle his cage and watch him squirm. She’s told pals she’ll up the ante if necessary and start winding him up, even promising her revelations could ruin his marriage.”
Last week, the former glamour model reportedly got naked to Facetime Kieran, 31 – who cheated on her during their marriage with a string of her pals and their nanny – amid reports she’s trying to win him back and destroy his romance with girlfriend Michelle Pentecost.
But pals say she is simply trying to get the former stripper – with whom she shares Jett, five, and Bunny, four – back on side to get information on Pete, who Kieran’s become friends with.
The source says, “Pete and Kieran became close pals over the summer and bonded over their turbulent splits from Katie. At first it drove her mad, but now she says she can use it to her advantage.
“She says Kieran is weak and still fantasises about her, so she thought that by flashing the flesh, she could worm her way back into his life and at the same time try to extract information on Pete. Kieran was less than impressed but agreed to be civil, though he told her he didn’t want to get dragged into it.”
Meanwhile, Jordan took her son Harvey, 16, to watch on/off boyfriend Kris Boyson, 30, play football last week amid reports the couple were on the rocks. Pals say personal trainer Kris is sick of her warring with Pete.
The source adds, “Kris thinks Pete is a full-blown obsession for Katie. He’s warned her she needs to just let it go, but she’ll go to whatever lengths she can to get back at him.”
