Kim’s anger over Kanye’s late-night calls to Khloé
Pals say reality star Kim Kardashian has been left feeling uncomfortable about husband Kanye West’s close friendship with her heartbroken sister
Her world came H crashing down when she discovered her partner Tristan Thompson had kissed her younger sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods, at a boozy party last month. It came less than a year after his previous cheating scandal, where love-rat Tristan was accused of affairs with multiple women during the final days of Khloé Kardashian’s pregnancy.
But insiders say Khloé, 34, has secretly angered her sister Kim, 38, after turning to her husband Kanye West, 41, for comfort.
A source says, “Khloé and Kanye have always been very close and he’s very protective of her – even calling himself the ‘Godfather’ of the family.
“Kanye’s furious with Tristan and has taken it upon himself to be there for Khloé – texting and calling her all times of the day and even late at night to check in on her, and visiting her as much as he can. Kim knows that there is nothing untoward happening, but she’s not happy about them speaking so often. She feels pushed aside and that she should be Khloé’s shoulder to cry on. She’s warned Kanye his behaviour is making her angry.”
CLOSE BOND
Khloé’s not the only sister with a close bond to Kanye. In a teaser for the new series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim – who’s expecting her fourth child, a son, via surrogate and shares North, five, Saint, three, and one-year-old Chicago with Kanye – tells Scott Disick how her older sister Kourtney is “obsessed” with Kanye.
And in Kanye’s song, XTCY – released last year – the controversial musician talked about sleeping with his wife’s sisters, rapping, “You got sick thoughts? I got more of ’em. You got a sister-in-law you would smash? I got four of them.”
The source adds, “Kim appreciates Kanye being so supportive to her heartbroken sister, but she can’t deny feeling a little insecure about his lyrics suggesting he wants to sleep with her sisters. She trusts him, but wishes Khloé would come to her and Kanye together. She’s not sure how comfortable she is with them having this close friendship and feels she needs to set boundaries from now on.”
FEELING ECLIPSED
Insiders say Kim was left feeling even more insecure after Kylie, 21, was named the youngest-ever self-made billionaire, thanks to her make-up empire.
The source says, “Kim sees herself as the leader of the Kardashians and she doesn’t like being eclipsed by anyone – least of all her youngest sister. Her inner circle think it won’t be long before she’s making herself centre stage again.”
