After being humiliated at the Emmys, it’s more bad news for Kim Kardashian as tensions surface with husband Kanye West over plans for their family and future
Despite Kim Kardashian’s reported reluctance to move to Wyoming earlier this month, her husband Kanye West purchased a sprawling £11.2million ranch there for his family to live in.
And now insiders tell Closer that it has caused yet more tension between the couple – who share four children – as they continue to have differing priorities when it comes to their living arrangements – with Kim, 38, outright refusing to give up her glittering showbiz career in Hollywood.
An insider shares, “Kim feels very strongly that she doesn’t belong in Wyoming and thinks the farm Kanye has bought is too rustic for her tastes. She told Kanye she felt trapped the minute she stepped foot there and couldn’t wait to get back to her friends and family in Los Angeles.
She’s worried they’ll end up leading separate lives if Kanye is hellbent on staying put there.”
FRUSTRATED
Closer recently reported how Kim has been worrying about the prospect of a long-distance relationship, as well as being frustrated about how she had to hear about how Kanye, 42, was planning a Wyoming move “on the internet” rather than from him, in scenes aired on Keeping Up With The Kardashians earlier this month.
Last week, Kim also faced fresh humiliation at the Emmy Awards – which she attended without Kanye – when the audience laughed at her and sister Kendall Jenner for claiming their family know all about how compelling television “comes from real people just being themselves”.

Our source adds, “Kim was mortified at the Emmys to have the whole of Hollywood laugh at her family – and she felt sad that Kanye wasn’t there to protect her, or stand up for her in the way that he normally would.
“She caught a glimpse into their future and the idea of them being apart makes her feel devastated.

“Kanye was encouraging her to ignore the haters and give it all up, but she’s saying she could never give up what she’s worked so hard for. She’s starting to feel that she and Kanye could be headed down an extremely rocky road in their marriage again.”
Insiders add the reality star is also worried that spending time away from her husband could turn their relationship toxic, and she doesn’t want to be in the same position as her sisters, single mum Khloé, 35, and Kourtney, 40, who has had an on/off friendship with her ex and father of her three children, Scott Disick.
“Kim is terrified that refusing to relocate to Wyoming could bring on a split between her and Kanye, and she doesn’t want the kind of toxic relationship with him that she’s seen with Khloé and Tristan, or Kourtney and Scott.
“She knows this is where Kanye sees their future, and the future of his church, but she can’t imagine her life outside of LA, which is all she’s ever known. She hates that they’re on completely different pages in their lives.”
