‘The world scares the sh*t out of me’

How excited are you to be returning to the jungle?

I couldn’t be more excited. That place has such positive energy for me because it changed my life. It makes so much sense to go back and make more amazing memories and learn even more about myself. I think because I had such an amazing experience, it’s a home from home – I feel so connected to it. I’m nervous about the job itself, but I feel nothing but positive.

You’ve already worked with Joel (Dommett) on ITV2’s Singletown?…

We get on so well! I think what’s great about us is there is zero sexual chemistry whatsoever. We’re like brother and sister and that works! We take the mick out of each other and it’s pally. We’re best friends.

Have you worked with Adam (Thomas) before?

No. But he is such a similar person. He has amazing energy and is so positive.

Will there be much time for socialising?

We’ve been told we need to get up at 10pm for work so the partying will be limited! But

I’m up for it. My body and soul react well to the mad schedules, because they’re so rewarding and keep me out of trouble!

Is there anything you’ve missed about Jungle life over the past year?

I’ve missed the person it made me. I missed feeling so care-free and so loved and accepted by the people I was surrounded by. There is nothing in there that can get you – apart from cockroaches and spiders! But they don’t mean any harm and they don’t know they’re scaring you. The world scares the s**t out of me! I’ve never been so at peace with myself and I’m lucky that I got to experience that. What haven’t you missed?

Using the dunny and that smell!

But if you go on the tube in London on a Friday night, the smell is something similar...

Are you up for doing the Bushtucker Challenges again?

I won’t say absolutely not, but I’m not jumping for joy. I’m going to have nice clothes on, lovely little dresses, and my hair and make-up done. We’re going to leave the challenges to Adam – he can do them!

What essentials will you be packing for Oz?

Mosquito spray. I’m a bit of light traveller really. As long as I’ve got my passport, my make-up, and a few nice clothes, I’ll be alright!
