Charlotte: “If surgery makes you more confident, then go for it!”

She’s no stranger to cosmetic enhancements, and Charlotte Crosby is all for other women following suit if it’ll rid them of their insecurities

Her no-nonsense attitude and unfiltered behaviour have won her an army of fans, but while Charlotte Crosby may appear to be the picture of confidence, the reality star has had a battle with her own self-image.

The former Geordie Shore star has undergone multiple cosmetic procedures, including a nose job and breast enlargement, plus Botox and lip fillers. In May, Charlotte, 29, had her implants removed after experiencing chest pains.

And although she doesn’t usually discuss her cosmetic procedures, she is keen to give women advice on surgery.

She says, “If something is making you feel really unhappy and you think changing it could make you feel more confident, then go for it. You’ve got one life. If something is making you feel really down or insecure, and if changing that is going to make you feel so much better in yourself, you’ve got to do it, and you can’t listen to anyone else. But try to wait until your body has finished growing before you make any rash decisions.”

PROPOSAL

A key contributor to Charlotte’s confidence is her boyfriend of almost two years, Joshua Ritchie, 25, whom she’s full of praise for, and is also keen for him to propose.

She says, “We live together now, which is nice. But you’d have to ask him about marriage. If he does [propose], I feel like

school is engaged and it just excites me so much to be by my friend’s side in such a monumental time in their life. It’s a big celebration and huge milestone.”

Over the years, Charlotte has endured a lot of heartbreak. She had a turbulent relationship with former co-star Gaz Beadle, and she tragically suffered an ectopic pregnancy while carrying his child, during which time he was filming Ex On The Beach in Thailand.

She then enjoyed a romance with Stephen Bear, but split in December 2017 after nine months of dating.

BUCKET LIST

But the desire to become a mother hasn’t escaped her and she still has times when she considers starting a family.

She says, “As a woman, you go through periods of feeling broody and then thinking, ‘Jesus Christ, I could not deal with that responsibility.’ It’s just a womanly thing.”

For the time being, Charlotte’s priorities are planning her 30th birthday in May, and hosting a new series of her MTV show, Just Tattoo Of Us.

She says, “I’ve got my 30th birthday coming up and I’m so excited. I’m planning it, preparing it, I’m thinking of everything I want to do and achieve before I’m 30.

“In your 20s, they’re your wildest years and you need to get a lot out of your system, so I’m currently making a little bucket list: fly in a hot air balloon, start snowboarding or skiing lessons, and, number three, I want to help save a life. Right now, marriage, babies... it’s not on my mind just yet.”
