“Arg is Mr GC – he loves me whatever my size!”
The diva opens up about what’s really going on with Arg and reveals how she’s fallen off the diet wagon
Rumours have been swirling since she was pictured with on-off boyfriend James “Arg” Argent on holiday earlier this month – and now Gemma Collins says the pair are back together after a “lovely” break in Dubai.
Speaking at the ITV Palooza, she says, “I’ve just come back. I had a nice rest and
I’m returning to work now.
Arg came with me. I flew out there on my own first and he travelled on another plane. He is Mr GC, so he boarded that plane to come and see me. We had a lovely time.”
Gemma, 38 – who’s been on and off with Arg, 31, since 2012 – showed off her tan and new hairdo on the red carpet.
But after making headlines for a recent 2st weight loss, the reality star admits she may have put on a few pounds while on holiday. However, she insists boyfriend Arg isn’t fussed about her figure. She says, “People keep saying I’ve lost more weight, but I think
I’ve put a little bit of weight on. This is a dress from my collection, so it hugs the curves.
“I’ve just bought myself a slow cooker, so I’ve been having a lot of vegetables and chicken and stuff. And Arg loves me whatever size I am – don’t worry about that!”
Gemma – who now has her own reality show and podcast – rose to fame on TOWIE back in 2011, recently making a oneoff return to the reality series. And she says she’ll forever be grateful for the hit show for spring-boarding her career.
She says, “You know what? Going back to TOWIE is like putting on a pair of your favourite, most comfortable slippers. The producers called me up – and you never bite the hand that feeds you. If it wasn’t for TOWIE, I wouldn’t be here today and I wouldn’t have had this amazing career. I’ll never turn my back on TOWIE.”
But looking to the future, she admits she has other goals – including becoming a mum.
Gemma, who has previously opened up about freezing her eggs, says, “I will definitely have a baby before I’m 40 – I’ve got people in Harley Street getting bits and pieces sorted. When I’m ready, I’ll have a baby – and I will love that!”
