‘I can’t keep my clothes on now!’

Confident Kerry Katona has shed 2st in just four months and is enjoying showing off her new body

-

She’s fought an ongoing weight battle, fluctuating between a size 6 and 14 over the years. But now, after losing 2st, Kerry Katona – who is 5ft 2 and a size 8 – believes she’s finally beaten her body demons, so much so that she loves taking off her clothes.

Kerry, 39, tells Closer, “I love my new figure and my confidence has gone through the roof. I’m surprised to be even wearing clothes at the moment, as I love walking around in the nude!

I’m confident and loving life. I feel the healthiest I have been in a long, long time.”

EMOTIONAL

Her transformation comes after an emotional and turbulent time, following the shock drug-related death of her ex-husband George Kay in July. But the mum-of-five – who has been diagnosed with bipolar – has always triumphed, despite multiple blows, including three failed marriages and stints in rehab in 2008 and 2010 for cocaine addiction.

And this summer, Kerry took charge of her health. With the help of personal trainer boyfriend Ryan Mahoney, 30, she started exercising every morning – before her children, Molly, 18, Lilly-Sue,

16, Heidi, 12, Maxwell, 11, and DylanJorge, 5, woke up. She also took appetite suppressants SkinnyJab.

She says, “I train as often as I can and I do lots of yoga. We have our own gym in the garage and my boyfriend trains me. I like to get up at 5am before any of the kids, have a coffee and a cigarette, and then do an hour’s yoga – although sometimes it might be 20 minutes. I also meditate in the morning.

“I go to bed at 8.30pm every night. I also don’t go out now and rarely drink. If I have two or three drinks, I’m s***faced. I’ve got to do the school runs the next day, so I don’t want to be hungover. Alcohol has played a massive factor in my weight loss.”

In June, Kerry underwent a breast uplift and had new 36E implants put in – now she relishes every opportunity she gets to go topless.

CONFIDENT

She says, “I have my stretch marks and cellulite, and I am proud. I’m feeling really confident. Any woman, no matter how perfect their body is, will always find fault. We have to accept those imperfections.

“After five children, I was tripping over my nipples – it almost became a health and safety issue! I didn’t want my nipples touching my belly button any more. My new boobs have given me confidence when I take off my bra. My boyfriend is very fit, but he makes me feel good about myself and that’s what matters.”
