Caitlyn urges Jac to make a “fresh start” in LA
After her frosty appearance with husband Dan Osborne at the NTAs, pals say Jacqueline Jossa has turned to new BFF Caitlyn Jenner for marriage guidance
They’ve put on a united front since she was crowned Queen of the Jungle – amid claims her husband had cheated on her in a threesome in 2018 – but last week, Jacqueline Jossa, 27, and Dan Osborne looked stonyfaced as they left the National Television Awards. Earlier in the evening, when Closer asked the ex- EastEnders actress if “all was good” between the couple, she snapped, “Yep”, before storming off, leaving her husband alone.
TENSION
Awkwardly, ex- Love Island contestant Gabby Allen, 26 – who has denied claims she slept with Dan, 28, in 2018 – was at the ceremony. Gabby’s ex-boyfriend Myles Stephenson – who reportedly told his I’m A Celeb! campmate Jacqueline off air that he had read texts between Dan and Gabby – was also there.
Despite the tension, Jacqueline seemed pleased to hang out with another campmate, Caitlyn Jenner, after the pair had spent the weekend before in Wales, with Jacqueline supporting Caitlyn, 70, at a seminar about her gender transition.
And a source tells Closer that the star – who shares daughters Ella, four, and Mia, one, with Dan – discussed her marriage with the woman she called her Jungle “motherfigure and confidante”.
STRUGGLING
The insider says, “They have kept in touch, but really got the chance to chat at Caitlyn’s hotel bar after the seminar – and Jac opened up to her more than ever. Caitlyn’s a woman of the world – she’s been married three times and has six children – so Jac trusts her advice on relationships. She admitted life had been a whirlwind after her Jungle win and confessed she was finding it hard to forget everything that’s happened with Dan and wants to save her marriage from further heartache. Caitlyn told her not to put on a brave face all the time and to be honest if she was struggling.”
And pals say Caitlyn – who was reportedly step-daughter Khloe
Kardashian’s “rock” when her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, 40, cheated on her shortly after their whirlwind 2009 marriage – has urged Jacqueline to use her upcoming girls’ holiday to LA to reflect and to visit her for more chats about future plans.
The source says, “Caitlyn said she’d host Jac and her pals at her Malibu home when they visit for their holiday and told her to explore acting opportunities Stateside. Jac said she couldn’t leave the UK, but Caitlyn told her nothing is impossible and it could be a fresh start for her, Dan and their family.”
Last year, Dan told his Instagram followers he would love to move his family to LA after a break in California in April. Replying to pal Calum Best, he wrote, “I love it. If I could bring the kids out here I’d live here in a heartbeat.”
The source adds, “Jac can’t help but feel excited – a big change may be what they need.”
