ROXANNE: ‘I’m proof you can find a happily ever after!’

She was embroiled in the controversial “punchgate” scandal on Celebrity Big Brother, leading her to become, in her own words, “the most hated girl in Britain”. But now Roxanne Pallet has found love, and shared happy pictures of her walking down the aisle with her American reality star boyfriend of six months, Jason Carrion.

The former Emmerdale star, 37 – who falsely accused Ryan Thomas of punching her on the Channel 5 show in what was actually a harmless playfight in August 2018 – smiled happily as she cosied up to Jason, 30, in a church in New York, as their families watched on.

Roxanne reportedly bonded with hunky firefighter Jason – who wed Cortney Hendrix after meeting on US reality show Married At First

Sight but split four years later – over their mutual love of fitness and the gym.

It marks quite the turnaround for Roxanne, who revealed she was left feeling suicidal after the “punchgate” backlash – telling Closer last year, “At my lowest ebb, I didn’t want to be alive.”

Speaking after she got hitched, she said, “I’m living proof that you can find a happily ever after beyond tough times.”

Roxanne had previously been engaged to Lee Walton just a week after meeting him on social media in December 2017, but the pair split three months after the CBB scandal.

Roxanne previously opened up to Closer about her quest for love, saying in 2017, “I’m such a romantic – I’d love to find real love one day.”
