Pete and Emily beg Jordan to seek professional help

Peter Andre and his wife Emily MacDonagh are trying hard to persuade Jordan to get the support she desperately needs

-

She sparked concern last week when a series of bizarre videos of her behaving erratically emerged online, prompting online commenters to suggest she may be using drugs. In one, which she posted on Instagram herself, Jordan was looking wild-eyed while singing into a bag of sweets. One fan commented, “What the heck are you on?

Your pupils are like saucers…” Another said, “On the sniff again I see.” Meanwhile, a different video shared on social media showed her misbehaving at Sheesh restaurant in Essex, grabbing the microphone from a singer and holding her crotch.

In response, she said she was heartbroken after her dog Sparkle had been run over and killed. She’s said to have been reported to the RSPCA, as it was her third animal to die in three years.

It follows a string of worrying antics from Jordan – real name Katie Price – who admitted to self-medicating with booze and cocaine last year. Last week she revealed her plans to model for Playboy – 17 years after she first posed naked for the publication – saying, “I’ve got

a Playboy [in my bag] because I want to do it again.”

Her revelation came just a week after she was forced to quash reports she was back in rehab after being snapped outside The Priory in London. In an angry Instagram rant, Jordan, 41 – who’s had a welldocumented battle with drink and drugs in the past – said, “I’m not in The Priory for any reason other than to film for my show on Quest, so f**k yourself and leave me alone!”

The troubled star revealed that she had an appointment with a psychiatrist, saying, “When you do TV you have to see a psych, because there are people taking their own lives, so they have to ensure you’re mentally stable. And I am.”

But pals say her inner circle are concerned Jordan isn’t getting the right support following a difficult two years after suffering with PTSD in the wake of her split from third husband Kieran Hayler in 2018 – whose divorce was finalised two weeks ago.

TURBULENT TIME

Meanwhile, two of her five children – Junior, 14, and Princess, 12 – have moved in with their dad Peter Andre, while her disabled son Harvey, 17, is in residential care five days a week.

At the end of last year, she was declared bankrupt, and to make matters worse, her mum Amy has a terminal lung condition. Jordan visited her mum, who lives in Spain, last month after telling followers on social media that Amy was “not very well”.

Insiders say Pete, 46, and his doctor wife Emily MacDonagh, 30, are concerned for Jordan.

A source says, “Pete and Emily are worried about Katie’s emotional state and want to offer some support. Yet she insists she’s fine. The psychiatrist she saw ahead of her new TV show said she was OK to start filming, so now Katie thinks she doesn’t have any issues. But she’s not in a happy place and keeps wanting to party to forget her problems, rather than facing up to them. The social media posts are concerning.”

FRIENDLIER TERMS

In recent years, she’s been prohibited from contacting Kieran’s girlfriend Michelle Pentecost after allegedly verbally abusing her, and banned from driving. Meanwhile, her on/off relationship with Kris Boyson and numerous flings with toyboys have also kept her in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons, as has a string of cosmetic surgery ops.

Despite a history of spats, Jordan and Pete are now on friendlier terms, and she recently revealed he called her up when she was declared bankrupt last year. On an episode of her reality show that aired in December, Jordan revealed, “Pete rang me, saying ‘Hi Kate, I’m really sorry, I’ve heard the news. I don’t like to see you like this.’” That same month, Pete also said in an Instagram post that he “respected” Jordan.

Recent reports claimed Emily – who shares Amelia, six, and Theodore, three, with Pete – was at “breaking point” over the drama surrounding Jordan, but now pals say she wants to help her. The source adds, “As a medical professional herself, Emily would like to point her in the direction of experts who can support her. She’s suggested the idea to Pete and they want to tread carefully, so they’ve reached out via friends to implore her to seek professional help.”

Jordan has often described Pete – whom she divorced in 2009 after four years of marriage – as “the love of her life”, and our source adds that he is one of the few of her exes she will listen to. As Closer reported earlier this month, Jordan has continued to spark concern with her crazy behaviour – including telling fans last month that she should “turn lesbian”.

The source adds, “While Katie appears to be in denial, her friends are concerned she’s reached rock bottom.

“As much as Emily and Pete want Katie to stop involving Pete in her drama, they want to see her get support for the sake of their kids, and because they don’t want to see her suffer.”
