SHE’S ‘IN TALKS’ WITH MEGHAN TO LAUNCH NEW FASHION LINE
She sent a clear signal their rumoured feud was over, after wearing a £950 dress designed by the former Spice Girl during her first public appearance since returning to the UK earlier this month.
Now, following Closer’s report that Meghan Markle, 37, and singer-turneddesigner Victoria Beckham, 45, were rekindling their friendship, insiders say the pair are now considering launching a sustainable fashion line together.
A source says, “Meghan’s always been a huge advocate of fostering change in the industry and is in talks with Vic about creating her own eco-fashion line, knowing it’s something Vic’s been consciously trying to focus on too.
“Vic has offered to help her, given the extensive research she’s done for her own range. They’ve spoken about collaborating on a fashion line, either with Vic’s label or as a separate entity and part of Meghan’s new brand.”
The pair were said to have called a truce after reportedly falling out over allegations the duchess suspected Posh of leaking details about their friendship, causing frostiness between them.
And now insiders say Meghan – who’s been praised for championing lesserknown sustainable brands – is keen to build on their renewed closeness.
The source adds, “A line’s been drawn under the past. Meghan knows Vic is loyal and she’s been an incredible support to Meghan over the last few weeks. It’s even likely Vic will attend Archie’s first birthday party in Vancouver in May.”
