Lauren Goodger hopes to use her time ‘social distancing’ to track down the perfect man to make her baby dream a reality
She joked she’d be “pregnant by the end of the week” if she had a boyfriend to go into isolation with amid the coronavirus scare.
Sprawled across her sofa, provocatively posing in her dressing gown, Lauren Goodger, 33, posted a series of flirtatious videos on Instagram stories – quipping to fans,
“If I had a boyfriend def be preg by end of the week hahaha.”
SETTLING DOWN
And pals say that despite the comment being tongue-in-cheek, the current situation of social distancing has made the former TOWIE star hit the dating apps as she re-evaluates what she wants in life.
A source says, “Lauren would like to have a boyfriend to snuggle up and nest with – and admits being holed-up has made those feelings even stronger.”
In 2018, Lauren confessed, “I can’t wait to have a baby, get some routine, get married and live happily ever after”, later adding, “I’ve already got my baby names sorted. You all know how obsessed I am with my babies! I can’t wait for my time.”
Admitting that same year how she’d even consider taking on motherhood as a single mum, she told Closer, “I’m putting my foot down. I’ve wanted a baby for so long and 2018 is the year it’s finally happening.”
But two years on and following a string of failed romances, pals say Lauren is determined to turn the situation into a positive and use the downtime to find her Mr Right.
The reality star – who had an abortion at just 19 when she was with her former fiancé and childhood sweetheart of 12 years, Mark Wright, 33 – also tragically lost a baby with her ex, Jake McLean, during their “toxic” four-year relationship, which ended in 2016.
And after voicing her regret over “wasting two years of my life” with jailbird Joey Morrisson following their 2018 split, insiders say she’s vowed not to waste any more time.

The source adds, “Lauren’s joined some dating apps and is using an alias so people can’t see who she is – insisting she’ll only reveal the secret of her true identity if they like her for who she is.
“She’s also finally getting round to responding to guys who’ve messaged her on social media and she’s vowed to use the opportunity of spending more time at home to strike up some conversations and get to know guys with FaceTime dates. She thinks it’ll be nice to get dolled-up and give her that added morale boost. And she’s optimistic she’ll meet someone and they can start to plan for a family.”
