DOING IT FOR THEMSELVES
It’s on-screen sisters Diane Parish (Denise Fox) and Tameka Empson (Kim Fox) who settle down for a chinwag with Stacey Dooley this week on Secrets From The Square (Mon 20 July, 8pm, BBC1). Diane casts her mind back to the pair’s first meeting, long before working together on EastEnders (though Tameka can’t quite recall this big moment herself – lols). Tameka – making her return to the Square for the first time since 2019 – reckons the gift of the gab helped bag her the role of feisty Kim, while Diane explains why she once had to pretend to all her pals and family members that she’d quit the show. Expect lots of interesting behind-the-scenes gossip, and we’re not at all jealous of Stacey when she gets a tour of Albert Square’s very own salon – Fox and Hair. Go on Stace, ask for a trim!
