‘FIGHTING FEELINGS FOR MALONE’
Katherine Dow Blyton, 55, has played village vicar Harriet Finch since 2013. Harriet has had an affair with dodgy DI Malone (Mark Womack) behind the back of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), who’s eagerly anticipating their wedding… Katherine tells Closer, “She’s shocked when Malone declares his love for her. She left the police mostly because of him. They had a deep connection, but he was married, so she thought nothing would come of it. The possibility they could’ve been a couple – and still could be – will hit her for six.” On the small matter of fiancé Will, Katherine adds, “She intends to have a life with Will and doesn’t want anything to happen to him. She knows the best thing would be for Malone to go away. She’s going to fight her feelings for Malone – but she tried that before, and left him for Jesus…” DID YOU KNOW?
